May 2017 – Welcome to a dimension of unlimited décorative possibilities! From May

16 to 19, SWISS KRONO will present a universe of inspiring ideas, impressions and

creativity at interzum 2017 (at Stand D070-E079 in Hall 6.1). As alive and astonishing as

life itself, the ONE WORLD COLLECTION unleashes an unprecedented plethora of freely

combinable furniture décors. With a single stroke, SWISS KRONO is sweeping away the

obstacles to forging one’s own living spaces. From sleekly elegant to glitteringly

pompous, everything is possible. SWISS KRONO, whose core competence is producing

top-quality engineered wood materials, has launched intelligent tools for paving the

way to personalised interiors. And this path can now be visually and actively

encountered in three impressive hands-on experience spaces at interzum 2017:

1. Our world is full of inspirations

Our world is overflowing with possibilities. Day after day, we absorb a vast variety of

impressions and stimuli. They can be colourful, flashy, tender or intense; they titillate

the senses, sometimes unbearably so. The media also capture a large share of our

attention. What is relevant? What has potential for being channelled into innovations?

2. Find yourself, in nature and silence

Let’s treat ourselves to a moment of peace and repose. Listen deep within ourselves,

let go and relax our mind. Focus on what is truly important to us. Nature is a place

very personal lifestyle.

3. Create your own world of emotions

When our thoughts are free to roam, new things can emerge. Ideas bud and grow, and

the wish to express our individuality appears. With colours, shapes, materials and

surfaces. To create our own world exactly as we please. With the ONE WORLD

COLLECTION, SWISS KRONO gives us absolute freedom for designing interiors.

Personally Designing Spaces with the ONE WORLD COLLECTION

Fresh uniciolours, authentic wood décors, metallic and fantasy designs: the right

furniture décor for every taste is included. The ONE WORLD COLLECTION comprises no

fewer than 68 décors and eight surface structures that can be freely combined. “In

close consultation with our retail and manufacturing customers, we adapt our

collections to meet regional tastes and requirements, supplementing them as needed

with additional base materials and surfaces,” explains Martin Brettenthaler, CEO and

President of the Executive Committee of the SWISS KRONO GROUP. Choices are

facilitated by smart decision-making aids and visualisations.

New in the Portfolio: Products Enhanced with HPL

The surfaces of particleboard, MDF and HDF panels are now being enhanced with

SWISS KRONO HPL (high-pressure laminate) for furniture fronts, worktops, window

sills, doors and much more. To enable this, the SWISS KRONO GROUP has invested

about 23 million euros in a new short-cycle HPL production plant at its Polish site. Due

to their very hard surfaces, these HPL products are extremely robust and resistant to

abrasion and scratching. This ensures a long life despite constant use. Neither daylight

nor household cleaning products, nor steam nor high temperatures can detract from

the appearance of HPL. SWISS KRONO is initially launching HPL within the scope of the

ONE WORLD COLLECTION.

A New Acoustic Insulation Solution for Walls and Ceilings

The SWISS KRONO GROUP is presenting an innovative new wall and ceiling solution:

SWISSCLIC PANEL. Alongside the two other product lines, S (Standard) and W (Wall),

now A (Acoustic) is also available. It combines modern interior design with optimised

acoustics. A quieter ambience and improved verbal communication, together with

harmonious aesthetics, increase the wellbeing of those who use rooms. SWISSCLIC

PANEL A (Acoustic) was developed to permit flexible solutions in offices, multipurpose

rooms and restaurants. It can be used as wall or ceiling cladding, or to make

contemporary noise-absorbing partitions. A precise snap-together “CLIC” system

permits quick and easy installation without the need for any special tools. There is a

choice of six wood and concrete designs in different colours, available with either

Creative or Elegant slots.
