'Plumazine' Magazine Overall
This is the final outcome of the Plumstead Manor School Magazine front cover and contents page. I considered each one of the students thoughts on what the magazine should look like and contain:
'Plumazine' Magazine Overall
Out of the 20 students I surveyed, 12 people said they prefer a magazine that has a bold title. I have done this
by using a shadow to outline the white text. The title 'Plumazine' is also in a blue text box, causing the title to stand out even more. This is because the colour, Blue, is not used anywhere else on the front cover, allowing the audience to focus on the title. Secondly, the front cover contains images which are compositioned in the center
and bottom half of the frame. 16 students said they would like subheadings below the image, allowing the
audience to know what the image would refer to in the text. I used the font 'consolas' because it was hard to
read the font 'Arial' in a small size. I could not increase the size or else that would mean I would have to make
the images smaller. This would cause my magazine to not attract the students because the images would not be
visibly clear for the students to see.
Overall, I am happy about the final outcome of the front cover of 'Plumazine' due to the fact that it has been made by the opinions of students who are the target
audience. I have included a bold title, followed by equalizing the amount of text and images, including
subheadings under the images. This therefore highlights how the students opinions have been taken into account.

I have used the same style on the title with the use of a shadow in order to outline the text, and also the Blue text box. The text is very clear due to the fact that it is spaced out. In addition to this, the images are compositioned on the right side of the frame, smaller than the images on the Front Cover of 'Plumazine'. This is because if the images were the same size as the images on the Front Cover, the text would have to be in a smaller size, which would cause the audience to lose focus on what the magazine actually contains. However, I did include a large picture of the school on the top half of the frame because it adds a heavy weight to the content, causing the audience to focus on the bottom half of the frame.
