9. Project Milestones. Provide a list (in bullet form) of project milestones expected to be reached over the course of the proposed project duration and how the project team will communicate progress on these milestones (1/2 page).

10. Contribution to training of highly qualified personnel (HQP). Briefly summarize the number and role of graduate students, post-docs & trainees (from north and south) potentially involved in the proposed research. (1/2 page).

11. Networking and partnerships. Identify the partners involved and briefly outline their role in the development and implementation of the project. Direct involvement of Inuit organizations and partners in designing, conducting and communicating the research is required. Note that Letters of Support are requested from partners making cash or in-kind contributions to the project.

14a. Budget

The current competition is for projects starting on 01 Sept 2015 and ending on 31 March 2018 at the latest. Projects can apply for a shorter funding period. Funds for all ArcticNet projects are awarded on an annual basis with projects and associated budgets subject to an annual progress review prior to yearly renewal. Please see ArcticNet Project Review Guidelines for details.

The current ArcticNet funding Phase is until 31 March 2016. The continuation of ArcticNet funding by the NCE program beyond 2016 is conditional on the success of a mid-term application to be submitted in 2015.

17. CV of Project members. Attach an electronic copy (in .pdf format) of an up-to-date CV for the Project Leader and all project researchers (university professors or adjunct professors) asking for ArcticNet funds.

18. Letters of support. Attach electronic copies (in .pdf format) of signed letters of support from partner organisations of the proposed project. Letters of support are mandatory for organizations providing cash and in-kind support.
