Kays Greys is a small private group of greyhound lovers in the Melbourne area passionate about re-homing unwanted greyhounds.

In our view greyhounds are born to run and not race andwe do everything to save as many as we can.

We know that greyhounds make truly wonderful pets and adaptnicely when making the transitionfrom race track life to your couch.

Why greyhounds need your help In Australia an estimated 20,000 greyhoundsare bred for the racing industry yearly. This makes the greyhound racing industry a very large puppy farm, but contrary to the poor puppies you buy at the mall, greyhounds are not bred to go to a loving family home.Greyhounds are bred to race but only about13,000 (2009 figure)out of the 20,000 bred make it to the race tracks. In other words,35% of all greyhounds are killed without ever racing!

We have recently saved two greyhounds , Bobby and Lacey, from a Sydney pound and they need your help. How you can help
