• The mise-en-scene for my front cover image is a very vibrant/colourful spread of the cover star holding a microphone in a well lit photo shoot. As my magazine genre is British music with in the image there will be a British flag to symbolize the genre. Maybe draped over the shoulder of my cover star or cuffed around their wrist. The clothing for my cover star will be basic fashionable wear not distracting from the flag or microphone. The make up on my cove star will not be to edgy due my magazine genre but definitely striking to grab attention. The body language of the cove star should indicate them being a musician of some sort.

Contents page images

The contents page will contain will have a large main image positioned to the right hand side of the page. This image will be a female artist (Jessie J) live at a gig posing towards the right hand side away from the camera shooting her performance. This image will be edited in order to fit precisely onto the contents page. The layout of text will run along side it listing the contents of the magazine. There will also be a puff image of a live band (Lawson) who are also listed as a feature article, this image will be positioned to the bottom left of the page with a short caption or quote from the article.

Interview for DPS and images needed

For the double page spread I will perform an interview with a British artist. This will be about his early life experiences with music and how he has grown to enjoy what he does enough to turn his hobby into a career. The interview will also go into detail of how his music has been manipulated by his environment growing up in the UK and how he would describe his genre due to this. I will need a high quality image of the artist preferably stood holding his instrument (guitar) using direct mode of address to the camera. The location could be in a café, open greenery area, or studio based. This is undecided.
