PL 1.3

Photoshop has layers, like onions and ogres.

Here we have two layers, the layers are like transparencies put on an old overhead projector.

If a layer is on top then a layer is on top. The further you move the layer down the list, the closer it comes to the bottom.

To see what your end product will look like, you can turn off layers like lights, and turn them back on again when you are ready. To do so click the eye to the left of the layer box.
