Piquant Marketing’s Holiday

Gift Guide

As a marketing agency that specializes in the food industry, we like to celebrate

almost everything with food.

With the holidays coming up, we thought we’d share our favourite products to give

and receive.*

*hint hint

Old Joy Gift Baskets

Gorgeous, unique, ethically-sourced, and ‘uniquely

curated’ these are a luxury to receive and beg to be

shared on Instagram.

They’ll do the work for you & even deliver it. Curated local/PNW gifts to fit holidays and beyond.

Beta5 Street Art Gift Boxes

Beta5 Chocolates are like the Andy Warhol of chocolate -

innovative, gorgeous, and totally unique. We love these because they’re wrapped in a limited

edition signed print from a local artist. Beta5 does also does their

own spin on holiday classic chocolates, but this is for the hip client who doesn’t want to see another gingerbread flavoured

something.

Local Craft Brew Advent Calendar

Vancouver has really perfected its microbrews in the last few years and these hoppy and

smooth beers can help you get through the holidays with an adult advent calendar. Central City Brewers + Distillers and Parallel 49 Brewing Company have partnered up for our pick

of the season.

ChocoHappy Handcrafted Chocolates

As Piquant Co-Founder Kristen says ‘I just effing

love these and I can pack a bunch of them in a stocking because of

their packaging.’

Nikaido TeaIf you find yourself in

Steveston, Nikaido Tea is an absolute must to visit. A homage to the Japanese

history of the village, you’ll find gorgeous ceramics, elegant stationary and the most

premium and beautiful teas in the city like ‘Summer Harvest-Shizouka’ or ‘Spring Harvest

Green Tea from Uji’.

Dips & Spreads of the Gods

We swear Vancouver has the best dip selection.

Yummus Hummus (smoked hummus please!), Spread ‘Em (the beet dip on

everything!), and Habibi’s Chocolate Tahini (enough said).

Canadian CookbooksWe love our Canadian chefs including the

Minimalist Baker, Vij, or This Rawsome Vegan Life.

Who doesn’t love cookbooks? Either to dog-ear and cook with or to flip through on a lazy day

on the couch.

Happy Gifting! Piquant Marketing is a Vancouver-based

marketing agency whose expertise is in the food industry.
