Dear Parents, Year 3 One World Week
It is One World Week in Alsager beginning Monday 9th October and we have been asked to take part in the celebrations with the Year 3 children doing some Brazilian Drumming. The organising committee have arranged for the Art Brazil Director to come into school to teach our children how to play Samba Reggae rhythms! They will then perform with her and the Art Brazil band on Saturday 14 th October at 11.30am in the main hall at the High School.
The One World Week celebration is a big event with many stalls and activities for the whole family. It a great opportunity for the children to perform and I do hope that they will all be able to represent Pikemere at the celebration. If you would like your child to participate in this fabulous event they will need to wear their school uniform and be at the venue for 11.15am. I will be at the venue and am happy for you to drop your child off and collect them again if that suits you; however you are more than welcome to stay and watch the performance and enjoy the other activities.
Please complete the slip below and return it to school by Monday 9th October as I would like to be able to let the Art Brazil teacher know how many children will be participating on the day.
