of medical diagnostics
Electrocardiography (ECG), Electromyography (EMG),
Elektrooculography (EOG) and the measurement of the
muscle stretch reflex are methods which are used rou-
tinely in medical diagnostics – for the
diagnosis of complex nerve diseases, but also by
general practitioners to measure heart activity.
These four diagnostic methods use electrophysiological
measurements, uncomplicated in their uses, as they
are non-invasive: the signals are simple read off the
skin surface.

With the Electrophysiology Lab a multi-use
measurement system is available for human physiology
training labs in medical sciences and biology teaching at
universities, with which all these four methods can be
realised.
All experiments use the same computer-assisted data
acquisition system – switching to another data
acquisition technology during lab training is not
necessary. This means that students can focus solely
on performing the experiment, taking measurement
readings and data analysis.

and measure software for data analysis, Bio-Amplifier for signal amplification, electrode collecting cable,
