Reese Lukei will tell us about two expeditions in 2012 and 2013 to Katmai National Park in Alaska

with Natural Habitat Adventures (www.nathab.com) to see Brown Bears. He describes the adven-

ture as an "experience like no other". Bears at Katmai have never been hunted and have not

learned to fear us and do not see us as prey. There are strict restrictions as to your actions when the

bears are present, and they walk within 10 feet of you. Makes your heart nearly jump out of your

chest! .
