Daytona State College offers a bachelor of applied science degree program to those who have earned an associate of arts (AA) degree or an associate of science (AS) degree. Those with AA degrees will be required to complete a total of 18 credits in an occupational/technical area (e.g., photographic technology, computer science, business, etc.) with a grade of “C” or better in each course. These courses are in lieu of the additional core general educational requirements needed by the AA/AS graduate.

Given our new state-of-the-art facilities and close relationship with the college’s Southeast Museum of Photography, Daytona State College is an exciting place to explore and develop personal visions. The Southeast Museum of Photography provides unique learning opportunities to examine exhibitions by master photographers and participate in special events with many lectures and classroom visits by guest artists.

Daytona State College meets the challenges of a rapidly changing creative environment with a program that stresses the fundamental aspects of photography, the highest level of technical proficiency and creative judgment, providing a broad understanding of the ideas and skills needed in the profession today.
