For the cut sectioning, begin by dividing the hair from the fringe to top of occipital.

Carve out two diagonal partings to separate the nape area below occipital.

Cut a blunt line at the nape using your hand as a guide.

Next separate the side section of above the partial ridge to separate the top.
Create uniform partings on opposite sides of the head to create symmetry.

Cut using the Slide cut technique.

Take a section at the apex and continue to cut using the Break Cut technique intermixed with the Slide cut technique. Cut to underneath guide line to blend.

Break and slide cut into the hair while moving your hand simultaneously up to create short to long pieces, maintaining the length of the hair.
