Twardawa baptismal font

Note from LDW: According to Zenon, nothing was ever thrown away, so as new churches were being built, they reused wood, windows, pews, statutes, crosses, etc, so it is entirely possible that this font was used to baptize the many Philipseks and allied families.

Zwiastowice

Zwiastowice (formerly Schwesterwitz, sometimes spelled Schweisterwitz)

Proposed Ancestors of Charles (Karl) August PHILIPSEK

Note from LDW: The dates listed next to b. (birth) may be actual birth dates or baptism dates. I was not always able to decipher the German script correctly, so sometimes I used christening dates and listed them as birth dates. I was inconsistent!

FIRST GENERATION 1. Charles Philipsek was born on 10 May 1876 in Mechnica, Poland and died on 7 Oct 1959. He married Frances Lucy Pyka.
