Open Philips ISP icon on Citrix Desktop 2. Enter username, password and select OK Admitting Patient onto System/Chalkboard a. If patient has an existing MRN in iPM: Open a New Episode 1. Select the Rolodex Icon 2. Enter the MRN and select SEARCH 3. Select the name by clicking once 4. Select New Episode 5. Connect patient to Fetal Monitor 6. Ensure network cable is plugged into CTG Ethernet port (right). If connected to Philips, a train will appear on the top left screen of the FM (right). b. To Log On to Philips ISP:

1. Open Philips ISP icon on Citrix Desktop 2. Enter username, password and select OK

Admitting Patient onto System/Chalkboard

a. If patient has an existing MRN in iPM:

Open a New Episode

1. Select the Rolodex Icon 2. Enter the MRN and select SEARCH 3. Select the name by clicking once 4. Select New Episode 5. Connect patient to Fetal Monitor 6. Ensure network cable is plugged into CTG Ethernet port (right).

If connected to Philips, a train will appear on the top left screen of the FM (right).

b. If patient is unbooked or ‘No Patient Found’ appears in the Search

Create New Patient

1. Select the Rolodex Icon 2. Enter: Last Name, First Name and MRN 3. Select Create Patient 4. Select Location and Bed Number from

Dropdown Box, select OK 5. Connect patient to Fetal Monitor 6. Ensure network cable is plugged into CTG

Ethernet port (below). If connected to Philips, a train will appear on the top left screen of the FM.

Updating Chalkboard

Once patient is allocated to a Location and Bed Number, they will be visible on the Unit Chalkboard To update the Chalkboard,

1. Click on a cell you want to add data in once 2. A dropdown/ free text box will appear. 3. Select from options and will appear on Chalkboard

Entering Notes/Annotations

Entering Notes from FM30:

1. Click Enter Notes on FM30 2. Select from available list, or type free text note 3. Once note selected, will be visible on CTG paper and in ISP

Entering Notes using ISP:

1. Double Click on Single Trace 2. Click Add 3. Select as many events as required for that time 4. Click add, then done 5. Click OK

CTG Reviews

1. To review select the Admission Tab 2. Click New Record 3. Select CTG Ax Icon 4. Click Add New, then OK 5. Complete drop down fields 6. Click Save 7. Click Done By complete user 8. Second CTG Assessor - Click on ‘/’ next to Signed by, enter username

and password

Discharging a Patient

a. Closing an Episode (use when patient has been discharged, but still pregnant)

1. Select the Rolodex Icon or Close Episode Icon 2. Select Close Episode 3. Select Location they are moving to 4. Leave option as Close and Archive 5. Select OK

b. Closing a Pregnancy (only use when patient has birthed)

1. Select the Rolodex Icon or Close Episode Icon 2. Select Close Episode 3. Select Location they are moving to 4. Leave option as Close and Archive 5. Select Close Pregnancy Documentation 6. Select OK
