Philippians 1: 27-30 27 Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel; 28 in no way alarmed by your opponents--which is a sign of destruction for them, but of salvation for you, and that too, from God. 29 For to you it has been granted for Christ's sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake, 30 experiencing the same conflict which you saw in me, and now hear to be in me. .

Philippians 1: 27-30

27Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel; 28in no way alarmed by your opponents--which is a sign of destruction for them, but of salvation for you, and that too, from God. 29For to you it has been granted for Christ's sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake, 30experiencing the same conflict which you saw in me, and now hear to be in me. .

Continuing with Integrity

Unsure Future

Paul’s unsure future left him to start verse 27 as he did, “Whatever happens…..”

We often say it like this when we are not sure of the future, “No matter what happens…”

Continuing with IntegritySolid approach

To make the gospel believable and solid as truth our daily lives must prove its worth.

Is your manner of conduct giving worth to the gospel of Jesus Christ?

Prevailing in Unity

Honor in Standing

Integrity is simply defined as doing the right thing when no one is looking.

Paul says this plainly, “Whether I end up coming to you or remain absent do the right things as a church no matter what.”

Prevailing in Unity

Method of StandingAs One …in one Spirit…contending as one man…

When Jesus was accused of casting out demons by the power of demons, he made a sharp and pointed reply, he said, “Any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall. If Satan is divided against himself, how can his kingdom stand? I say this because you claim that I drive out demons by Beelzebub. Luke 11:18

1. How’s your conduct record? We all have our days, our good days and our bad days. We’re not perfect every day, as much as we would like to be. But is your manner of conduct giving worth to gospel of Jesus Christ?

2. When it come to choosing fear or faith listen to what Isaiah. For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, do not fear; I will help you–-Isaiah 41:13

3. A sign that you believe in Jesus Christ is that you suffer because of His name. It may not be suffering that requires your life, but there will be some suffering. It may be the snickering of a coworker, or a well placed insult from an unbelieving family member or acquaintance, or an attempt to deface your character religious authorities. Jesus said, “In this life you will have tribulation, but take courage I have overcome the world.’
