Presentation Notes
Many of our resources are involved with the CSS Split, we will continue to deliver against the project plan for our 7/19 go-live We are viewing the scope of the upgrade as 3 inter-related projects that deliver against the common set of benefits and goals outlined earlier. Our delivery model allows for recognition of benefits sooner while keeping the initiatives tied together Delivery dates for guest access and form automation will be revised as the scope and effort are better understood, upgrade is set based on a go-live weekend (down time needed) Form Automation will be more of a continuous delivery model

PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 UpgradeProject Status:

Monthly Summary – September 18, 2014The project has been changed to yellow due to the delay in completing the functional and technical design specifications. This delay will impact the start of development activities on the design specifications. HCM92DEV will be delivered as scheduled for the start of ITS Unit Testing on September 22nd. Progress continues on developing test scripts for the core functional areas that will be used throughout the upcoming testing cycles. Discussions continue for developing our 9.2 security strategy. A copy of HCM92DEV will be made into our QNA environment in October so that the Functional Leads can begin playing with 9.2 functionality with BGSU data.

Upcoming Milestones• Begin ITS Unit Testing on 9/22. • Deploy SES DEMO and DEV. • Apply Tax Updates to HCM92DEV. • Build out configuration environment, complete “clean-up” of CSS data• Finish transition of design specifications to the Technical Team.• Begin development.• Continue to define testing scripts with the Functional Leads. • Continue to develop the HCM92 Security approach.

Upcoming Events• 9/18 – HABIT Open Forum in BA 111 @ 2PM.• 10/16- HABIT Open Forum in BA 111 @ 2PM.

Past Month’s Key Accomplishments• Environment: Completed initial pass of HCM92DEV and applied Image 7; built

SES environment; refreshed TMP databases; began Environment Checklist and Smoke Testing of HCM92DEV.

• Design: Functional review still in progress on 7 design specifications. Technical review in progress. This task is behind schedule and off track.

• Development: Initial pass started for removing the Student Environment from HCM92DEV (portal content, components, pages, records, fields, etc.).

• Testing: HCM 9.2 test script review and creation meetings continue with each functional area.

• Security: Strategy discussions continue on upgrade and row level security. • Training: Registered for Oracle on-site HCM Delta and Self Service training

Nov 3rd-7th. Virtual HR and Benefits training scheduled for Oct 27th-31st.
