Webinar: On 22nd Octo-ber 20, Department of Pharmacy Practice, ISF College of Pharmacy, Moga organized a live webinar in collaboration with Lexicomp /Wolters Kluwar on the topic of “Patient Centric drug information service for reducing medication errors”. Mr. Vikas Arora (Director Infokart India) was a keynote speaker, Mr. Amit Sharma was
the coordinator and Mr. Sourabh Kosey moder-ated the session. 150 student participants at-tended the session. The speaker gave an online demonstration of Lexicomp, with a virtual tour, of rich content and robust features of Lexi-comp drug information services. Software helps to evaluate the drug in-formation services and the good part is that
Lexicomp mobile app works offline too (not dependent on broad-band and mobile con-nectivity). The infor-mation provided on Lex-icomp is updated on dai-ly basis. Significant to mention that 98% of US hospitals work on Lexi-comp. In India too, More than 50 colleges and 100 hospitals are using services.

DST-SERB research pro-ject worth Rs. 35.00 lakhs: Dr. Charan Singh, Associate Professor, De-partment of Pharmaceu-tics, received a DST-SERB research grant for the worth Rs. 35.00 lakhs. Project entitled "Aerosolized Smart Nanocomposites for the Treatment of Drug Re-
sistant Tuberculosis" under the scheme Equi-ty opportunities for Ex-cellence in the Science and Engineering Re-search Board (SERB), DST.
Honored as an Editorial Board Member Dr. Si-dharth Mehan, Associ-ate professor, Depart-ment of pharmacology
selected as an Editorial Board Member in Neuro-epidemiology, Karger Publishers, Switzerland. Journal Impact factor is 2.186 and Cite score 5.50, Indexed in Pub-Med and Scopus. In edi-torial board Panel there are only four candidates from India and faculty of ISFCP is one among them.

Felicitation Ceremony of SPER Punjab Members: Recently, faculty of ISFCP got elected to office bearer positions, among them Dr. RK Narang as Vice President, Dr. Daizy Arora as Secretary Pun-jab, Dr. Pooja Chawla as President and Dr. Sukhbir Kaur as Vice Present of Women Forum of Society of Pharmaceutical Educa-tion and Research. To celebrate this achieve-ment, College organized a felicitation ceremony.
Chief Guest of the event was Sh. Parveen Garg (Chairman) ISFCP, and the keynote speakers were Dr. G.D. Gupta (Director-Cum-Principal), Dr. R.K. Narang (Vice-Principal), Dr. S.S. Pan-choli (HOD, Department of Pharmaceutics), ISFCP.

ment with overview on Post clinical Phases” in AICTE New Delhi spon-sored online STTP based on theme “Importance of Research methodolo-gy in clinical research and Pharmacovigilance” at Institute of Pharmacy PSIT, Kanpur on 29 Oct 2020. The lecture was very helpful to upgrade knowledge and train fac-ulties about the roles of clinical pharmacy in phar-maceutical sector world-wide.

National Webinar in col-laboration with TLF a Global school, Moga:
ISF College of Pharmacy organized a virtual na-tional webinar on “How to read like a writer”. In this event opening wel-come was given by Dr. GD Gupta (Director-cum-Principal). Key note speaker Dr. Sneha Shar-ma, who is renowned writer, voice artist and visiting faculty from Re-naissance College of Commerce and Manage-ment, Indore talked
about techniques on writing and discussed important skills needed for writing a book.
Dialogue:
A dialogue featured a motivational discussion
by Dr. GD Gupta on *जियें तो जियें कैसे* on 23rd Oc-
tober 2020. The seminar was a part of “a series of talks organized by IQAC-ISFCP”. The session was focused on stress free life. 18 states, 8 countries and 450 people partici-pated in the session.
Most of the questions were related to stress, happiness, health and financial issues. The Co-ordinators of the session were Dr. Sidharth Mehan (Associate Professor, De-partment of Pharmacolo-gy) and Dr. Daisy Arora (Associate Professor, de-partment of Pharmaceu-tics) was the moderator of the program. At the end, Dr. GD Gupta was honoured by the worthy chairman of ISFCP Sh. Parveen Garg Ji, Er. Janesh Garg and Dr. RK Narang .

Hindi Divas Celebra-tions: Hindi Diwaswas celebrated on the 14th of September, to commem-orate the adoption of Hindi in Devanagari script as one of the offi-cial languages in differ-ent Hindi speaking states of India. The speakers elaborated on im-portance of Hindi and its rising popularity.

at the ISF College of Pharmacy on 24th October, 20. More than 250 can-
didates had registered and the program was viewed by 1000 plus on
ISFCP You tube channel. The Coordinator of this program, Dr. S.S Pan-
choli, said that Dr. Ajay J. Khopade has been working as a scientist in
Sun Pharma for two decades, the platform technologies discovered by
him are very popular in cancer drug therapy all over the world. Partici-
pants were excited to listen to his very informative talk.
