Summary Welcome to the pilot Rule 21 Interconnection Application Web Portal. You can get started by clicking on the following URL: https://www.egi-pge.com
This portal will enable you to submit your application online and ensure that all the required information is submitted to move your application along. Get started by registering per the instructions below.
Registration
From the Login Page, click the Register button.
Complete all fields on the next screen and click the Register Button.

Account Details
Once registered, login to the portal and click on the My Account tab and update Account Details
Your Account Details can be used to pre-populate Customer Contact, the Contractor and the Authorized
Contact details in the new application form.
Select the icon to edit a field.
When all fields have been updated,
select the Save Changes button

Starting a New Application From the Home Page, click Start New Application.
Select Program
At the Select Program screen, choose the relevant Program and Sub-Program.

…add each one. Ensure ALL New and Existing generators are included using the Add Generator button. Once all generators are listed, click Save and Continue.

Form Builder
The Online Portal will build the application and identify the required tabs across the top of the page.
Note: It is important to enter all the generators and the program type’s so that the form is generated correctly.
Tab Options
Allows for the selection of a study process, and for identifying the generating facility’s location and responsible parties
Allows for selection of interconnection type (i.e., non-export, uncompensated export, third party owned generation, and details on that generation, if applicable); Requires generating facility operational details including, operating mode such as (a) parallel operation, (b) inadvertent export either as standby, emergency or backup generation, or as a QF; (c) momentary parallel operation either as standby, emergency or backup generation, or a QF, or (d) isolated operation
Export Export service data and description of the export generating facility, such as in the case of net energy metering generators.
Technology Tabs
Solar PV based generating facility and host customer’s electrical facilities and Solar Statistics Data Fields.
Wind based generating facility and host customer’s electrical facilities.
Machine based generating facility and host customer’s electrical facilities.
Fuel cell based generating facility and host customer’s electrical facilities
Energy storage as a Rule 21 generating facility and host customer’s electrical facilities.

Applicability of RES-BCT, attestation requirements, and includes list of benefiting accounts.

Depending on your answers, additional information may be required; the form is dynamic and will automatically show or hide questions relevant questions for your Interconnection Request.

Select the Customer Contact
Select the Authorized Contact. Use the drop-down options to pre-populate the Authorized Contact with the Contractor details if they are the same.
Select Contractor Use the drop-down options to pre-populate your contact details saved in the “My Account” section of the portal.

Non-Export At the Non-Export screen, input all required information. Select if the interconnection agreement is Non-Export or Uncompensated Export
Once all information is inputted, click Save and Continue.

Select the:
Inverter Manufacturer
Inverter Model
from the drop-down list and inverter characteristics will be pre-populated. Be sure to include all new and existing generators using the Add Generator button. Once all generators are listed, continue to input AC Disconnect and Lineside Tap information. Once complete, click Save and Continue.
If the Inverter Manufacturer and/or Inverter Model are not provided in the drop-down list, select: Enter Manufacturer Not In List Then enter all inverter characteristics required.

complete, click Save and Continue.
