7. Regulation 23 2 of the principal regulations is repealed and thefollowing subregulationis substituted-

2 Subregulation1 i doesnot apply if -

a the towing vehicle is fitted with mirrors that enablethe driver of the towing vehicle to see vehiclesapproachingfrom the rear; or -

b the combinationis fitted with a flashing amber domelamp that conforms with regulation 1OA and is fittedin accordancewith that regulation. ".
