PRODUCT INFORMATION PermaPlate Windshield Protection Ultimate Windshield Protection The PermaPlate Windshield Treatment contains a unique molecular coupling agent that chemically bonds to the glass surface. Fusing at the molecular level, it creates a hydrophobic and protective coating by capping the natural glass pores and its surface ridges. This bond utilizes the latest in Nano chemistry to strengthen and improve the qualities of the automotive glass by grabbing and chemically fusing into the glass molecules creating a strong covalent bond. PermaPlate Windshield Treatment was created to provide unprecedented protection to vehicle glass. Once applied, PermaPlate Windshield Treatment’s molecular composition utilizes nanotechnology to create a protective coating that improves rain vision, reduces night glare, strength and enhances the over-all appearance of the glass. PERMAPLATE DEALER GUIDELINES

1. All employees and agents of Dealer shall not alter, change or dilute any

PermaPlate Product.

2. All employees and agents of Dealer will not misrepresent or modify the Product Warranties and shall be fully informed as to the attributes, qualities, limitations, uses and proper application of the Product(s).

3. All employees and agents of Dealer will provide proper application of the Products as outlined in the applicable instructions and will store and otherwise handle the components and raw materials for such Products in strict accordance with such instructions and accompanying Material Safety Data Sheets. Dealer will reapply the Product on those vehicles that have had a repair or replacement pursuant to the applicable Warranty.

4. All advertising, marketing, and promotional materials used to promote

PermaPlate Products must be supplied by, or be first approved by PermaPlate.

5. Warranty registrations shall be remitted to PermaPlate within thirty (30) days of date of sale to retail customers. Product Warranties shall be registered by utilizing official PermaPlate forms.

6. No employee or agent of any Dealer has the authority to legally bind PermaPlate. Further, no employee or agent has authority to accept liability on behalf of PermaPlate or approve coverage under terms of the Warranty.

7. Warranty service or repairs may not be undertaken by any employee or

agent of Dealer without prior authorization from PermaPlate. 8. PermaPlate will be immediately notified in a timely and effective manner of

any customer complaint or Warranty claim with regard to any PermaPlate Product that comes to the attention of Dealer.

9. All employees and agents of Dealer understand that prior authorization must be obtained from PermaPlate before payment of any Warranty claims is made. Coordination with any insurance carrier shall be the responsibility of PermaPlate.

10. Payment for Product shall be made in full to PermaPlate at the time the Warranty for such Product is submitted to PermaPlate.

11. Dealer is subject to charges for claim costs and fees paid by PermaPlate

on unregistered warranties due to the failure of Dealer remitting in a timely manner (See Guideline No. 5).

Overcoming Objections

1. Cost is only an issue in the absence of value. Continue to sell the benefits.

CLAIMS PROCEDURE In the event one of your customers should need to file a claim, know they will be taken care of by PermaPlate’s experienced and professional Claims Department. Windshield repairs and replacements are done by technicians who are trained and certified to ensure compliance with the American National Standard Institute’s auto-glass replacement safety standard. It is possible that a customer may contact the dealership first when inquiring about filing a claim. Please refer them to PermaPlate in one of the following ways:

Call PermaPlate’s toll free number (800) 453-8470 Direct them to the PermaPlate Website at www.permaplate.com where the

customer can complete an online form or download a PDF form When the customer contacts PermaPlate, they will verify the customer’s warranty number, request current contact information, and ask for the date of loss or damage to the windshield. The PermaPlate Claims Policy and Procedure: To maintain the highest level of customer service, our Claims Department strictly adheres to the following procedure:

1. PermaPlate will forward all valid claims by registered customers to our technicians as they are received.

2. Customers will be contacted by the repair technician to schedule an

appointment for as soon as reasonably possible. 3. If additional information is required to resolve a claim, it must be

requested within five (5) business days. If requested information is not received within twenty (20) business days, PermaPlate will make a determination based upon the documentation that has been provided to date. Certain exceptions may apply.

4. Any written complaints and/or disputed claims are responded to within

five (5) business days of receipt.

ISSUING WARRANTIES The selling Dealer is responsible for issuing the Warranty to the customer. It is important that the procedure be followed consistently. Warranties cannot be altered to change the terms of coverage in any way. It is imperative that all information requested on the Warranty be completed in full to provide necessary documentation in the event of warranty claims. To issue a Warranty, please use the following procedure: Finance Department:

1. Fill out warranty registration form either manually or by using a registration computer program, i.e. Reynolds & Reynolds, ADP, etc.

2. Enter all information requested (including retail purchase price). 3. Have customer(s) sign where indicated and give Customer Copy to

SET-UP PROCEDURES Windshield Protection Product Set-Up We recommend strictly adhering to the following procedure:

1. Keep products away from heat sources. 2. Use in a well ventilated area.

3. Eye protection is recommended throughout application process to

avoid eye damage from splashing.

4. Rubber or plastic gloves are recommended while working with the Windshield Protection chemicals.

5. Store product in a cool area. 6. Do not use electronic devices in or around any fueling operation or

storage area. 7. Empty containers retain residue and can be dangerous. Properly

dispose of empty containers to avoid possibility of explosion from exposure to heat or other sources of ignition.

PRODUCT APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS Step One: Prep and Clean –

Use PermaPlate Windshield Pre-Treatment to ensure there is no interference between surface contaminants and PermaPlate Windshield Treatment. Spray glass surface with PermaPlate Windshield Pre-Treatment and wipe thoroughly until glass is dry and streak-free.

Step Two: Apply –

Apply PermaPlate Windshield Treatment directly onto application sponge then spread evenly onto windshield in a cross-hatch fashion.

Step Three: Remove Excess –

After 3-4 minutes following application, remove excess PermaPlate Windshield Treatment with a clean micro-fiber cloth until surface is dry and clear of application marks.

Step Four: Repeat Steps Two and Three –

Repeat with no variations. Do not expose treated glass to water for at least 30 minutes to allow product to completely cure.

Note: Apply product only to the outside surface of the windshield.

Use only on cool surfaces. Never apply in direct sunlight. Use clean applicator for each application. Use clean micro-fibers for prep and removal of excess.

Do not allow PermaPlate Windshield Treatment to completely dry on glass before removing.

PRODUCT APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS Step One: Prep and Clean –

Use PermaPlate Windshield Pre-Treatment to ensure there is no interference between surface contaminants and PermaPlate Windshield Treatment. Spray glass surface with PermaPlate Windshield Pre-Treatment and wipe thoroughly until glass is dry and streak-free.

Step Two: Apply –

Apply PermaPlate Windshield Treatment directly onto application sponge then spread evenly onto windshield in a cross-hatch fashion.

Step Three: Remove Excess –

After 3-4 minutes following application, remove excess PermaPlate Windshield Treatment with a clean micro-fiber cloth until surface is dry and clear of application marks.

Step Four: Repeat Steps Two and Three –

Repeat with no variations. Do not expose treated glass to water for at least 30 minutes to allow product to completely cure.

Note: Apply product only to the outside surface of the windshield.

Use only on cool surfaces. Never apply in direct sunlight. Use clean applicator for each application. Use clean micro-fibers for prep and removal of excess.

Do not allow PermaPlate Windshield Treatment to completely dry on glass before removing.
