The People's Warden must also have been a member of the Parish for a minimum of two consecutive years. It would be helpfbl to have some knowledge and experience in chairing of meetings Responsible to Rector, Corporation, Vestry Liaison Person(s) Rector, Pastoral Associate, Rector's Warden, Parish Secretary, Parishioners as required. Results Statement The People's Warden has the authority, responsibility, and accountability for the duties as set out in this document and as such is to ensure there is a system in place for getting the job done, someone doing the job, finding a replacement when required, reporting to Vestry on each assigned activity and communicating from Vestry to persons doing the activity. Duties The People's Warden is responsible for the overall operation of the parish, the duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Stewardship (In-reach) a) ensure that hosting, including greeting and ushering duties are carried out in the prescribed manner b) oversee the operation of the nursery c) oversee the production and distribution of name tags d) oversee the production and distribution of welcome packages Administration The People's Warden will oversee the administration of the parish in the following areas: a) ensure proper timely responses are made to information requests, telephone enquiries and mad b) coordination production and distribution of the parish newsletter c) coordinate preparation of the church calendar d) schedule parish activities e) coordinate production and distribution of parish advertising f) ensure that parish supply acquisitions are camed out in a timely fashion g) oversee the availability and upkeep of photocopying services

h) ensure all parish records are properly maintained i) oversee the organization of the congregationai mail boxes j) ensure proper and timely distribution of thank you notes

k) ensure all bulletin boards are maintained in a neat and tidy manner

Diocesan and Corporation a) The People's Warden is a member of the Corporation of the Parish

and will attend and participate in ail Corporation meetings. b) The People's Warden is a Synod Delegate for the Parish and will

attend and participate in ail Synods as notified, in accordance with Canon 5 clause 62 (a) to (c).

c ) The People's Warden is a member of Vestry and will attend and participate in all Vestry meetings.

Other Duties as Required The People's Warden will cany out all other duties as required such as, in the second year of their term, preparing the Christmas Letter, Annual Report and chairing of the Nominating Committee.

Duties on loss of a Rector Should the incumbent die, fall ill or leave the parish for any reason, the People's Warden in conjunction with the Rector's Warden shall ensure that the duties of the Rector are fblfilled in accordance with Canon 5 Clause 29.

Collective Vestry Responsibility Attend and participate in Vestry in accordance with Canon 5 Clause 63 (a) to (e).
