There are ~1000 MM additional oil barrels tramp in the aquifer.
Water is removed to begin the process of double displacement and retrieving the volume of oil available in the area invaded by the aquifer.

Field Development and Production
According the water production is reduced the window moves down to the bottom, exposing the rock to the gas cap, encouraging the gravity drainage.
