Morning Academic ProgramMorning Session (9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)Grade Level: Entering Grades 1-4Sessions: Co-ed classrooms

Each session of the Morning Academic Program begins with a basic review of concepts from the previous grade level. Teachers differentiate instruction and reinforce common themes, standards and expectations from the prior school year aimed to help solidify existing skill sets and knowledge bases. As camp progresses, the focus shifts to reflect curriculum that campers can expect in the coming year, with an emphasis on math and language arts. A fully integrated Digital Literacy & Design program is available for campers in the Morning Academic Program, with full access to the Spark Studio, where students will explore, design, engineer and tinker.

Routines and expectations provide a comfortable space for making new friends and building upon existing relationships. All campers are informally assessed and feedback is shared with families at the end of each session. Campers leave the summer program having gained valuable experience and confidence that prepares them for a smooth transition into the next grade level.
