OUR PHILOSOPHYOUR PHILOSOPHY
Disposal of waste at it’s source of
generation.
‘Seeing is Believing’ - simply execute the
waste treatment plants and let our Clients
talk about it.
 Consider “Waste as a Resource”.
Don’t Construct it if you can’t Maintain it.

Waste to Energy Projects in Waste to Energy Projects in
Cities / TownsCities / Towns
Delay in implementation of large size MSW
projects inspite of finalization of contracts -
Unrealistic cost for implementation by the new
entrants
Offer of royalty in lieu of tipping fee
Handing over of land due to legal complications
 Involvement of multiple agencies (collection,
segregation & transportation)
 Dispute among consortium members
NIMBY Effect (Not In My Back Yard)
 High CAPEX & Maintenance Cost
 Delay in financial closures
Lack of support and assistance in sale of by-products
Difficulty in signing of Power Purchase Agreement
(PPA)
Requirement to clear existing dump sites to set up
MSW processing plant
 Space Constraints in growing cities
Availability of land away from the cities
 Long gestation period in execution

Total investment incurred for this project = Rs.75 Lac
 Rs.60 Lac for Biogas Plant
Rs.12 – 15 Lac for construction of compound wall, underground water
tank, water & wastewater pipelines and beautification work
PMC saves approximately Rs.10 – 11 Lac annually by utilizing
electricity & manure.
The annual maintenance cost of Rs.7.5 Lac is taken care from the
savings of PMC.
Decentralized Waste Management Plant reduces transportation &
manpower cost (approx. 10 Lac/annum) for PMC as Uruli Devachi
dump site in Pune is approx. 30 -35 KM away.
Subsidy (CFA) from MNRE, GOI availed = Rs.12 Lac
Life span of biogas plant is minimum 15 – 20 years.
