Problems of uncontrolled biomass burning

• Smoke production with fine organic particles with high concentrations of soot.

• Emissions of CO by bad combustion.

Advantages of the gasification front of the incineration

• In gasification, emissions of hazardous compounds (dioxins and furans) are 1.000 items smaller.

• The energy efficiency is about 32% (front of 22% of incineration with Rankine cycle)

• It generates 40% of CO2 less per kWh produced.

• Gasification allows smaller plants (from 0,5 MW)
