Hello, I am Pavol Torma from Košice, Slovakia, IDA 2007 winner. During my time at university I decided to move away for half a year on Erasmus; this turned out to be a great decision for me as the winning design was created there. After graduating from university I started my own business making graphics, websites, sculptures and interiors; I worked on this for about 2 years. As I achieved certain goals, I decided to move to Prague with my girlfriend in search of new opportunities and to gain a better understanding of their culture. Due to this move I am now focusing my career on 3D visualisation rather than working as a designer, allowing me to work with some interesting clients. Sometimes it is better to clear your thoughts and make room for new ideas. For me, making design is not just about creating products on Close deadline. Working hard in my workshop at night.
