Farm to Fork Building a Sustainable Local Food Economy
FARM to FORK Summit – May 11 & 12 Culmination of statewide initiative run by Center for
Environmental Farming Systems (CEFS) under the leadership of Dr. Nancy Creamer
400 participants in two-day Summit Speakers included Gov. Perdue, Rep. Etheridge Focus was on local food accessibility. If everyone spent just
$.50 it would be a $1.7 billion increase for our farmers.

DISCUSSION: A key objective of the Workforce Demonstration Program is to establish a Virtual Network within all 11 counties that connects educational institutions and industry partners using i3D equipment and distributive learning.
