This company was established in 1996 under the title of "Pura Sepahan Rolling Engineering Group" aiming to design & manufacture modern Steel Pipe & Tube Production Lines including:

The company was re-organized with the same ownership structure under the name of "Pars Zagros Heavy Machinery Co." in 2002 to expand its fields of activities and also to participate in various industrial & steel projects.

Pars Zagros Heavy Machinery Company is located around 25 km South west of Isfahan ,in Mobarakeh Industrial Zone and is close to two major Iranian steel producers, Mobarakeh steel company as largest industrial complex of the country (www.msc.ir) and Esfahan steel company (www.esfahansteel.com).
The factory is positioned on a 50,000 square meter industrial terrain, with a 10,000 Square meter of custom designed industrial hangar. The sheds are equipped with all necessary machinery, tools and fabricating equipments for manufacturing all types of heavy industrial machinery and spare parts for:

Hot Rolling Mill Processing sequences
For production of Steel Bars, Debars, I-Beams, Channels, Angles
In this method Hot Steel Billets as raw material to be converted into Steel Sections such as steel Bars, Debars, I-Beams, Channels, Angles as a result of a series of operations mainly Progressive Hot Rolling in Rolling Stands.
The line consists of following main sections:
1-Heating Billets in Walking Beam Furnace 2-Progressive Hot Rolling in Rolling Stands 3-Cooling Bed 4-Straightening of Sections 5-Saw Cutting to Length 6-Packing

Electric Resistance Welding (ERW) processing sequences
For production of Steel Pipes & Tubes
In this method flat steel strip with various thickness as raw material to be converted into Steel Pipe & Steel Hollow Structural Sections (HSS) as a result of a series of operations including Forming, Welding and Sizing.
For steel pipes under certain standards like API, End-Facing and Hydro-Testing sequences should be considered as extra steps as well.
As you can see in below schematic picture, within ERW processing, flat steel strip (1) is formed continuously around its longitudinal axis to produce a round tube (Pipe). This is done by moving the strip through a progressive set of rolls (2-6). The strip edges (7) are heated by either high frequency induction or contact welding and then forged together by weld rolls to create a continuous longitudinal weld without the addition of filler metal. The weld seam (8) is then cooled and processed through a set of sizing & shaping rolls which cold-form it into Steel Hollow Structural Sections (HSS) as square (9) or rectangular (10) section.
