Disneyland® Resort 2-Day Hopper Plan

Disneyland® Park is the first theme park Walt Disney created and remains heavy on the nostalgia — with classic rides

such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise and Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride. Disney California Adventure® Park is the

place to find popular Disney, Pixar and super hero attractions such as Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!,

Radiator Springs Racers and Incredicoaster. With so many attractions, we recommend planning at least two days to

explore the parks and using FASTPASS, Disney’s ride wait system, and MaxPass, an optional paid add-on that allows

you to make FASTPASS reservations from your smartphone.

Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes ahead of opening so you are one of the first to enter the park (arrive an hour early to

park if you are driving). Guests using Extra Magic Hours or Magic Mornings are allowed one-hour early entry on Tues-

days, Thursdays and Saturdays. We suggest visiting the highest priority rides in the morning when waits are lowest.

With the Disney FASTPASS service, guests get FASTPASSes at certain rides that allow them to skip the line and return

at specified hour-long windows later in the day. After getting a FASTPASS, a guest has a waiting period before being

able to collect the next FASTPASS (shows like World of Color and Fantasmic! are an exception).

MaxPass is a paid add-on that lets you book FASTPASSes through your smartphone. You can buy it through the Disn-

eyland Mobile App once you enter the park or when you get tickets. MaxPass saves a lot of time and walking. Plus, as

soon as you redeem your FASTPASS at a ride, you can immediately reserve the next one.

There are several things to take into consideration that could affect your park plan:

• Ride closures

• Extra Magic Hours/Magic Mornings

• Parades, fireworks and nighttime show schedules/availability

• Park hours/crowd levels

• Weather

• Your own personal interests and ages, heights and interests of children

Disneyland® Park and Disney California Adventure® Park Single Rider Attractions:

Single Rider lines are an excellent choice for those guests who don’t mind splitting up their party in exchange for a

shorter wait time. Guests must meet height and age requirements to ride alone.

attractions with the lowest waits, prioritizing rides that should be visited in the first hour,

and the first two and last two hours. This plan includes an evening in each park to enjoy

nighttime entertainment. If you purchase MaxPass, you may make FastPass reservations

for rides in one park while you are in the other to save time!
