Its renowned attractions – the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Champs Elysées, Sacré Coeur – are amongst the world’s best loved and most photographed, while her museums – the Louvre, the Musée d’Orsay, the Musée Picasso – are amongst the most visited and most cherished.

Paris

Paris has so much to offer visiting students, its grand boulevards and the narrower streets of the lesser-known quartiers reveal a new delight at every step. When it comes to exploring the city, consider starting at Paris’ historic island heart, the Ile de la Cité, where the exquisite church of Saint-Chapelle and the ancient prison, the Conciergerie, are all that remain of a once great palace. Here you will also find the fabled Notre Dame Cathedral, one of Europe’s finest gothic masterpieces. From there you can head in any direction and discover Paris’ spectacular sights – the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysées, Arc de Triomphe, Sacré Coeur and the Louvre, to name a few!

Travelling in December? A visit to Paris in December offers the opportunity to experience the city’s Christmas Markets as well as to enjoy its spectacular Christmas lights. More details can be provided on request.

Bateaux Mouches Seine River CruiseEnjoy the very best views from the River Seine. Lasting for an hour, with English or French language commentary, this is a popular way to experience some of the City of Light's prestigious monuments and grand buildings from a unique vantage point. Musée d’OrsayThe Musee d’Orsay is located in the centre of Paris, on the banks of the Seine. Originally a train station, the museum features art from the period 1848 to 1914 throughout 80 separate galleries, with works by Delacroix, Degas, Manet, Monet, Renoir, Gauguin, Cezanne, Van Gogh and many others.

Cité des Sciences et de l'IndustrieExplore the largest Science museum in Europe. The Cité has a planetarium, a submarine, an IMAX theatre and an education centre. The museum's aim is to spread scientific and technical knowledge to the general public and to create public interest in science and research.

Pompidou CentreExplore one of the most visited attractions in France. The Pompidou Centre is devoted entirely to modern and contemporary creation of theatre, music, movies and books.

Observation Deck at Montparnasse 56Take in the very best view of the Eiffel Tower and enjoy a spectacular 360° panoramic view over Paris from the observation deck on the 56th floor of the Montparnasse Tower.

How to BookTo register your interest and to request a personalised quotation, please call or email us. Having discussed your plans, you will simply need to select your departure date and tour duration, and our Programme Manager will prepare a Personalised Quotation to reflect your requirements and advise the price of the tour. You will then need to collect a deposit payment of £30 per student (coach tour) or £100 per student (Eurostar or Air tour) and send us the payments with a completed Booking Form in order for us to confirm your booking.

Your AccommodationYour group will stay in one of our carefully selected hotels. Our range includes good standard properties in either Zones 1-2 (close to the centre of Paris), Zone 3 (on the outskirts of central Paris/on or around the Périphérique) or Greater Paris (located 15-30 minutes drive from the Périphérique).

Your MealsYour package price includes continental breakfast each morning. For lunches and dinners you can choose to make your own arrangements, alternatively your Study Experiences Programme Manager can pre-book packed lunches or arrange affordable, value for money meals from a selected number of restaurants in and around Paris.

Your Choice of Travel DatesAs our Paris trips are available throughout the year, during term time and also during half terms and holidays, you are able to select travel dates that suit you and your students.

Travel by CoachOur prices are based on a minimum group size of 40 and maximum 49 students. Travel arrangements are based on providing your group with exclusive use of a 48, 49 or 53 seat coach.

For groups of between 20 and 40 students, we are able to offer travel by coach for your exclusive use, however we will need to charge an appropriate small group, coach under-occupancy supplement.

As schools located in the north of the UK require a longer period of coach hire, a small regional supplement may apply.
