Madrid, enero 2019. El festival Paraíso comienza el año con fuerza presentando nuevas confirmaciones para la segunda edición que tendrá lugar los días 14 y 15 de junio. El line up se une a la apuesta de mimar cada detalle del festival, con instalaciones cómodas y sin aglomeraciones, además de intervenciones artísticas en el espacio y una cuidada oferta gastronómica.

Entre las nuevas confirmaciones, destacan nombres de la talla del carismático DJ y productor bosnio-alemán Solomun que nos hará bailar en el espacio verde de la UCM como lleva años haciendo en clubs de todo el mundo así como en su famosa residencia en Ibiza. Danilo Plessow, o Motor City Drum Ensemble, también es otro de los nombres que se une a este avance. Este DJ

y productor está dando mucho que hablar y es que, en los últimos años, ha sabido sacarle brillo a la cabina y destacar por su sonido. Es por ello uno de los artistas más reclamados de la escena.

Uno de los grandes lives que acogerá Paraíso 2019 será el de las dominicanas Mula, ya que visitan por primera vez nuestro país con sus beats mezclados con ritmos de merengue o bachata, base de su fuerte pisada en la música latina underground.

Volviendo del Caribe a Centroeuropa, se suman nombres de la escena holandesa como Antal, fundador del sello y meca del vinilo Rush Hour, o Max Abysmal, que no dejará a ningún asistente sin bailar con un universo propio que va del ambient a la

Madrid, January 2019. Paraíso festival starts out the year with a bang by presenting new confirmations for its second edition, which will take place on June 14 and 15. The line-up adds to our commitment to paying close attention to every detail of the festival, with comfortable facilities and without crowds, in addition to artistic interventions in the space, a gaming area and a carefully selected gastronomic offering.

Among the new confirmations are big names like the charismatic Bosnian-German DJ and producer Solomun, who will make us dance in the green space of the UCM as

he’s been doing for years at clubs all over the world as well as at his famous Ibiza residency. Danilo Plessow, or Motor City Drum Ensemble, is another name that joins this announcement. This DJ and producer is causing a big buzz as, over the last few years, he has managed to bring brilliance to the booth and stand out for his sound, which is why he is one of the most sought-after artists in the scene.

One of the great live acts to be showcased at Paraíso 2019 will be that of Dominicans Mula, who will visit Spain for the first time with their beats mixed with merengue and bachata rhythms, the reason

for their strong presence on the Latin underground scene.

Returning from the Caribbean to Central Europe, names have been added from the Dutch scene like Antal, founder of the label and mecca of vinyl Rush Hour, and Max Abysmal, whose singular universe—ranging from ambient to the mix of psychedelic rhythms or funk from the 80’s—will get festival-goers dancing. The irresistible Carista also joins the line-up of Paraíso 2019, guaranteeing a frantic and whirling set as those she’s been delivering at her residencies on Red Light Radio or NTS Radio.

Lastly, Raphaël Top-Secret wraps up this announcement. The Frenchman glimpses distant horizons where one can hear Afro-Caribbean echoes, industrial sounds, boogie, ambient and even rap.These names have been added to the 11 artists confirmed a few weeks ago: Bob Moses, Kalabrese, KiNK, Maribou State, Nicola Cruz, Or:la, Orpheu The Wizard, Pional, Rhye,

Selvagem and Young Marco. Now the line-up—boasting artists of 12 nationalities—continues to broaden its perspective of the diverse territories of electronic music explored at Paraíso 2019.

In combination with this line-up, in the coming months Paraíso will present its programme of other arts that—as in its first edition—come together with music to offer festival-goers the chance to live a multisensory experience.
