Purpose of Job

The Engineer will assist to perform design calculations, computer analysis using in-house / commercial

software and prepare reports and specifications for offshore pipeline and subsea and hydrocarbons

projects as directed by the Supervisor/Line Manager.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of Engineering Manager / Engineering Project Manager or his delegates,

the Engineer shall carry out the following duties:

� Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality

Assurance system to PAPE Engineering

� Detail design for offshore rigid pipelines, risers, flexibles, PLEM…

� Rigid pipeline / riser system detail design:

- wall thickness design

- flexibility/ stress / spool analysis

- on-bottom stability analysis

- coating design

- free span analysis

- thermal expansion analysis

- lateral buckling analysis

- bottom roughness analysis

- cathodic protection design

- riser design,

- PLEM design

- pipelay analysis

- pipeline routing

- MTO

� Prepare Pipeline specifications for line pipes, pipe fittings, coatings, installation, etc.

� Prepare data sheets, technical requisitions and to carry out technical bid evaluation and review

of vendor data

� Liaisons with lead draftsman to coordinate pipeline/ riser / PLEM drawing production

� Be familiar with the project scope of work, specifications, schedule and all inter-discipline

requirements; including identifying issue(s) and taking appropriate initiatives to address them

Requirements

� Engineer with a recognised Degree in Offshore / Civil / Mechanical Engineering preferably from

local university (NUS/NTU) or from international recognized university.

� Good leadership, planning, organizing and interpersonal skills

� Ability to work well in a team

� Fresh graduates or graduates with up to 1 year working experience

� Work location: Jurong International Business Park (Singapore)
