Technical Committees (TC) in 5 specialist fields of language
TC:Standardisation, Spelling and orthography
All NLBs attended skills development workshop in methods and setting of rules to standardise languages (July) submitted draft documents on spelling rules and orthography
TC:Terminology development All attended workshop in March 05 in principle and practice of terminology and terminography. Ensured same theoretical background when verifying and authenticating terms. All received Guidelines document
TC:Literature and media Rules and criteria for prescribed books in schools compiled
Writers associations and reading clubs established
TC: Research Training in research methodology
