Kirkstall Community First Present: Steve Harris (Chair), Simon Dawson, Stephen Rennie, John Preston Apologies: Lucinda Yeadon Minutes of the Previous Meeting: The minuters of the meeting held on Monday 10th June 2013were agreed as a true record of proceedings. Matters arising: We needed to follow up on unclaimed awards and get feedback to ourselves as well as to CDF, so that we could report on local progress. We would contact CDF for copies of feedback to them to date. We would visit all the applicant projects that had not yet had visits. Lucinda would visit Burley Model Allotments Stephen would visit Station Allotments East, Burley Mills Allotments and Milford Marlins John would visit Friends of Burley Park Simon would visit Kirkstall Harriers The allocations sheet was reviewed. There was a query as to whether or not Kirkstall Community Garden award money had been spent on the Merry Monk project, which had not been part of the original application. New projects: Kidz Club would be contacted and visited. Declarations of Interest: No declarations of interest were made in respect of applications to this meeting. New Applications: Kirkstall Educational Cricket Club had applied to improve security at their premises to improve access and increase hours of use. Provided that a greater breadth of project was undertaken, greatly increasing the number of volunteer hours specifically put into this project, it was agreed at £2,460.00. Kirskstall Crusaders Junior Football Club had applied for support for training their coaches. Matched voluntary hours way exceeded what was required and the amount of £1,500.00 was agreed. Headingley Station Allotments West had applied for support to improve access to the site for people with mobility problems. The group were putting in a substantial effort through use of volunteer labour and £1,000.00 was agreed. Panel Development: We had had an expression of interest form Helen Capocci of the Burley Tops group and would invite her to the next meeting. We would try get someone form either Spen Residents or Moor Grange Action Group involved. Date and Time of Next Meeting: We would next meet on Monday 2nd December at 19.30, 16 Morris Lane.
