Paneer Butter Masala
Ingredients• Paneer - 1/2 lb (250 gms) Onion - 1 big/2 small (chopped)
• Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
• Tomato - 3 small/ 2 big (blanched and pureed)
• ashe! Paste - 2 tbsp
• hill" Po!der - 2 tsp (or to taste)
• oriander Po!der - 1 tsp
• Garam #asala Po!der - 1/2 tsp

• Turmeric Po!der - 1/$ tsp
• %asoori #ethi (dr") - 1 tsp
• umin &eeds (&hahi 'eera) - 1/2 tsp
• utter - 2-3 tbsp
• Oil - 1 tsp
• Orange-red ood colour - 1/$ tsp
• &alt - to taste
• *ea+" ream (,resh ream) - 1/$ cup
• ilantro - or garnish (inel" chopped)
Method1 *eat little oil in a pan. and saute the onions till it s!eats and coos nicel" ou need not
bro!n it

3 n a dierent pan. melt the butter and splutter some cumin seeds
$ 4dd the onion puree to this and r" or e! minutes
5 4dd the ginger garlic paste and r" or another minute
4dd the turmeric po!der. tomato puree. cashe! paste. asoori methi. chill" po!der and
coriander po!der
6 7educe the lame and let the miture coo or 5 minutes
8 4dd about a cup o !ater. ood colour and re9uired salt and let the gra+" come to a boil
: 4dd the garam masala po!der. paneer cubes and the hea+" cream/e+aporated mil and
let the !hole gra+" coo or another 5 minutes till all the la+ours blend together
10 Garnish !ith inel" chopped cilantro or resh cream
