handed in snafflebit or hackamore. It’s open to approved Non Pro LTD riders and who comply with all Non Pro eligibility
rules. Non Pro riders in this class must meet the requirements of the 2.1.12 ownership rule. (See Non Pro eligibility

LIMITED OPEN BRIDLE is an ERCHA-NRCHA approved class: it’s open to any rider that has not won more than $15,000 in
reined cow horse shows and limited age events, (lifetime earnings in reined cow horse events) except Youth Bridle, all
Non Pro Limited and Youth Limited classes. To be eligible to compete in this division, contestants must have a valid
Horse Show Limited Open designation on their membership card and a current application on file in the office. The
Open and Limited Open shall have a common draw. (Except in the case of the NRCHA World Show.); will be held class in
class with the OPEN BRIDLE class.
OPEN TWO REIN is an ERCHA-NRCHA approved class: it’s open to horses of any age that have not been shown in a
NRCHA and/or ERCHA BRIDLE class yet. These horses are allowed to enter this class for one year only. Horses have to be
exhibited one-handed. There’s no limit of fingers between the reins.
NON PRO TWO REIN is an ERCHA approved class: it’s open to horses of any age that have not been shown in a NRCHA
and/or ERCHA BRIDLE class yet. These horses are allowed to enter this class for one year only. Horses have to be
exhibited one-handed. There’s no limit of fingers between the reins. It’s open to Non-Pro riders.
OPEN HACKAMORE is an ERCHA-NRCHA approved class.
NON PRO BRIDLE is an ERCHA-NRCHA approved class and the NRCHA rules are applied. It’s open to Non-Pro riders.
NOVICE NON PRO BRIDLE is an ERCHA-NRCHA approved class and the NRCHA rules are applied, open to approved
Non Pro riders who have not earned more than $7,500 in this or any other approved NRCHA class in lifetime earnings,
except Youth, all Non Pro Limited and Youth Limited classes as of November 16th of the current show year. To be
eligible to compete in this division, contestants must have a valid Horse Show Novice Non Pro designation on their
membership card and a current application on file in the NRCHA Office. The Non Pro Bridle, Intermediate Non Pro Bridle
and the Novice Non Pro Bridle will have a common draw at the shows. (Except in the case of the NRCHA World.)
NON PRO HACKAMORE is an ERCHA-NRCHA approved class.
BEGINNING FENCE WORK is an ERCHA-NRCHA approved class and the NRCHA rules are applied. Provisional class for
2020 and 2021. To be eligible to compete in this division, contestants must be horse show Non Pro Limited eligible and
enter the horse show Non Pro Limited class. Work to consist of reining pattern, that will run concurrently with the Non
Pro Limited class, and single cow work. Exhibitors are allotted one minute and thirty seconds to complete the work.
Time shall begin when the gate closes behind the cow after being let into the arena. When there are 30 seconds left, the
announcer will announce, 30 seconds remaining. At one minute and thirty seconds, the announcer will call for time.
Exhibitors are not required to use all of the allotted time but must ride until the judge ends the run with a whistle or
time expires, whichever occurs first. There are four parts to the work: boxing the cow; setting up the cow and driving /
rating it down the fence to the opposite end of the arena; and boxing it at the opposite end of the arena, and then
driving / rating the cow past the middle marker again. There is no expectation that the exhibitor will make a ‘fence turn,’
rather the drive down the fence demonstrates correct position and control around the corner. 3.12.1 Open to approved
Non Pro LTD riders and who comply with all Non Pro eligibility rules. Non Pro riders in this class must meet the

fence work classes at any judged classes or events with the exception of horse sales. A rider will be ineligible upon
reaching the earnings threshold in any combination of officially published NRCHA earnings and/or earnings from any
other association. The responsibility for eligibility lies with the competitor. If an individual feels a competitor is not
eligible for a class, the burden of proof lies with the person who protests. 3.12.2 Horses 5 years of age and under as of
January 1st of current show year may be shown in either a snaffle bit or hackamore. Horses of any age may be shown in
the two rein equipment (for one year only) or bridle 3.12.3 After Non Pro competitors reach the age of 50, they may fall
back into the Beginning Fence Work class. However, they may not go down the fence again in any judged classes or
events with the exception of horse sales and remain in the Beginning Fence Work class. Competitors may fall back to the
Beginning Fence Work class only one time. Any rider that has not reached the age of 50, has earned more than $750
down the fence and wishes to compete in the Beginning Fence Work class may petition the NRCHA Board of Directors
for special consideration. 3.12.4 Riders must enter the Non Pro Limited class. The rein work score earned in the Non Pro
Limited class will apply towards the Beginning Fence Work class composite. The cow work portion of the Beginning
Fence Work class must be held standalone. 3.12.5 This provisional class for 2020 and 2021 will not count for regional
standings, national standings or World Show qualification. Earnings will count towards horse and rider lifetime boxing
earnings and eligibility. Earnings will not count towards Merit Awards.
NON PRO LIMITED BRIDLE is an ERCHA-NRCHA approved class and the NRCHA rules are applied.

approved Non Pro riders who have not earned more than $1,000 in lifetime earnings and who comply with all Non Pro

determining eligibility for this class, all Non Pro Limited earnings shall be computed at zero as of January 1, 2002. This
class may run concurrent with Non Pro Limited, however it is strongly recommend that it be run as stand-alone if

individual feels a competitor is not eligible for a class, the burden of proof lies with the person who protests.
NOVICE RIDERS is an ERCHA approved class. It’s a Jackpot class where horses NOT owned by the rider can be shown
too. Horses may be shown 2-handed in hackamore or snaffle-bit, or with regular AQHA bits. AQHA rules are applied.
Riders cannot have earned more than $750 in fence work classes at any judged classes or events with the exception of
horse sales.
YOUTH NOVICE RIDERS class: is an ERCHA approved class open to rider under 18 as of November 16th of the current
show year. Youth may not show stallions in Youth classes for safety reasons.
NOVICE HORSE OPEN AND NON PRO is an Ercha approved class. Horse have to be exhibited two-handed with snaffle-
bit only. No limits on the age of horses.
HERDWORK ALL AGES OPEN AND NON PRO is an ERCHA approved class. It’s open for open and non pro rider. It’s open
to horses of any age and not owned by the rider. Horses may be shown 2-handed in snaffle-bit, or with regular AQHA
bits.
N.B. Objections about the show judgements will be allowed only if presented through a specific form that is available at
the ERCHA office. A fee of $ 100,00 will be applied. The ERCHA-NCHA Judges commission will then examine the
objection.
ATTENTION
Deadline for entries 16th July 2020 - Late entries 30% entry fee (from 17th July until 24th July). After this date no
cancellation will be done, and you have to pay 100% of the stalls and of the entry fee - TO BE SEND ONLY BY E-MAIL
[email protected]. Saturday and Sunday practices will have to be reserved by the even of the previous day. All
payments have to be done at the show office by 7.00 PM of the day prior to the show. All owners and riders have to be

ERCHA members. The classes will be held class in class with the normal ones with a separate ranking list.
The partecipants at the regional classes has to be ERCHA REGIONAL members (60 euro). ERCHA/NRCHA membership
can be bought on the show ground (anyway, we invite everybody to get his membership before the show!!!). Non Pro
riders have to exhibit the horse’s certificate showing their ownership. An insurance form covering all damns horses can
cause to third parties or third parties’ things has to be shown to the show office.
The first 5 riders of each class will be rewarded with the ribbon only if they present themselves at the Awards Ceremony.

From 2016 it’s not possibile for the non pro riders show horses with a transfer in the States. On the AQHA paper there
will be the name of the non pro rider.
A copy of the competitive medical examination of the rider will be filed in the office.
For regional riders and herdwork all ages riders, it’s not mandatory booking the stall, just pay the contribute of 30 euros
for each horse.
