Day 1- Bangalore

Arrival at Bangalore airport were our representative will greet you and is transferred to your

Vehicle for the three weeks of travel along south Indian plantation destinations .The vehicle is

Multi utility Innova ideal for travel on estate roads and equally comfortable along high ways.

Check into West End Hotel (Top Class Hotel) a colonial setting with wonderful homely

atmosphere near racecourse road that was a favourite planter’s hotel, the VIP guests list even has

the British Royalty, Winston Churchill and the rock star, now operated elegantly by Tata’s under

their Taj Vivanta brand. The transfer will take an hour from the airport on a peak traffic hours

and subprime hours it will take 45 Minutes. We could use the remaining day to rest and replenish

.

Day -2 -Bangalore

Just relax and we will discuss the next one weeks travel programme while over a cup of Coffee

or Tea along the lovely lobby. We will give you our suggestion of places of interest and finalise

according to your priorities

We can visit the Bangalore club in the evening. Have a drink and get back to west end, diner at

the club or West end, as you prefer.

DAY 3 Drive duration 6 Hours.250 kms 5 hours

After breakfast, we are all ready to move casually to Chikmagalur, or Sakleshpur the land on Indian Coffee, the earliest coffee estates were first to be established here in 1840s. The drive of 250 Kms along variable roads, which will be a full day, would go into the early hours on dusk. We have two accommodation Options 1 is the plantation resort called The Serai (Top Class Resort)

The Serai is one of the best plantation themed resort in Asia for its facilities and the plantation and wildlife sanctuaries in close proximity. We offer coffee estate Bungalow named

Chikmagalur was once the hunting grounds of the Earls ‘of Warwick.

Day 4 –

Chickmagalur

Get up late or skip breakfast for a brunch. Now you are in the lap of Baba Budan Hills. We are

happy to brief your stay plans for the next two days.

We will take you to the coffee plantations or the planters clubs or go for a drive to Baba Budan

Hills after a nap.

Day 5- at Chikmagalur.

Go for a drive along the majestic Baba Budan hills and drives into countryside exploring the

small townships along the coffee estates or a day at Bhadra wildlife Sanctuary will be a rare

occasion to spot animals at close quarters and the luckiest will even spot a tiger as it is well

managed Tiger reserve. We suggest an early dinner, as we will have to leave early towards Coorg

our next destination. Around an hour away is Hassan, a nice little plantation town with beautiful

drives and further on the way half hours from Hassan.

Day 6

Move to Mysore Drive 180 Kms, which is a 4-hour drive, on variable roads if we are moving

from Sakleshpur we need only 3 hours to cover 140 Kms Check into Windflower Spa

resort, a very personal place with a character; enjoy the Mysore of Tipu sultan who fought

for his land resisting the British. The Wodeyars rulers made the land into a garden city and

palaces, also a fine destination with a sprinkling of cultural heritage and wellness.

Day 7

At Mysore enjoying the destination along the lines, and being pampered in wellness spas within ,

Mysore was a lovingly made garden city with a fair sprinkle of history on Tipu sultan and the

Wodeyars kings who made it into a strong modern state .

Day 8

Move to Nagarhole, one of the best wildlife areas in South India Drive duration 80 Kms and 2

hours

This one of the finest wildlife area in South India with high animal sighting, Enjoy the land from

we also offer a Kaav safari Lodge offering a fine experience for the wildlife enthusiasts. Along

the very edge of the Nagarhole wildlife sanctuary, lays KAAV--a luxury homestay steeped in the

spirit of rare solitude of the forest. A lodge built in luxury, but coloured by the local landscape.

DAY 9 From here go trekking, photographing and even for tiger trail, lovely boating and cycling

Kabni and Nagarhole well blessed for nature and wildlife lovers.

Day 10 One more days needed for exploring more. Just enjoy the simple luxuries of the resorts.

Day 11- After Breakfast we drive to Nilgiri Mountains covering 200 Kms on a 5 hour drive on

variable roads and check into Red Hills Nature Resort, Emerald. The drive could be tiring and

once you are in the concierge assistance at the Resort, you will feel good.

We have the Option to be at Wilds at Masanagudi, which offer great wildlife sighting Or

Ambrina Devala near Gudalur. The Drive from Kaav Safari lodge to Wilds Masanagudi or

Ambrina Devala is about 4 Hours on Variable roads.

Day 12

Enjoy the destination tucked in great surroundings with wildlife and beautiful tea.

Day 13

After breakfast we move to the foothills of Anamallias to Sethumada and check into Banyan

Tree .The drive would be close to 5 hours on variable roads covering 160 Kms

In a Tamil Hamlet were many native farmers have set up flourishing coconut, rice paddy, and

many other short vegetable and grains farms. Your Accommodation is with a prominent

planter’s guesthouse called Banyan Tree at Sethumada (A fine country home in the

farm) right at the foot of Top slip, which take you into Parambikulam and Anamallias Tiger

Reserve forest and into the tea plantation upon Anamallias.

The stay is very cosy, the food is very authentic South Indian fares or continental .The barbeque,

and some sundowners would be a lovely way to wrap up the day.

Day 14 Go for short drive to INDIRA GANDHI WILDLIFE SANCTUARY & NATIONAL PARK

Anamalai rise from foothills at the height of 300 m to Top slip-Parambikulam

Plateau at 800m and to the Valparai Plateau, between 1000 and 1250 m. Now

we’re are at the foot of the Anamallias

Day 15 Move to Anamallias Drive duration is just 2 hours to cover 60 into crest of the

hills on excellent roads

We move to Anamallias the land of some fine tea after being with Coffee estates and some

wildlife along the destinations of Karnataka .Check into Waterfall estate Ropeway bungalow,

Day 16

Enjoy the tea estate and some nice spots offering fine views and many nature trails and some

planters delights like a day at the Planters Club options at Valparai

Day 17

Drive duration 3 hours 100 Kms into Kerala.

Move to Athirapally in Kerala by a forest road.. We will have to start early by 8 am so that we

cross the ghaut rods at a time ideal to get wildlife at close quarters and yet not to be in the danger

of being blocked by them .

The road is narrow and is a high-density elephant, panther and gaur grazing area Check into a

luxury resort overlooking the Famed Athirapally waterfalls. Rainforest (Top Class) is nature

resort, owned by one of the fine hotelier from nearby Cochin.

The resort offer spectacular views and lovely stay with its seamless setting with nature.

Day 18

Continue your stay with the lovely nature around you and enjoy the lovely resort.

Day 19

After all these days with Coffee, tea and wildlife, shall we move towards some hustle and Bustle

of Fort Cochin?

A short drive under 2hrs will take you to Cochin to the Historical port town of Fort Cochin. We

recommend using old harbour hotel or Old Lighthouse Bristow hotel Fort Cochin or Grand

Hotel Ernakulam located at MG Road Ernakulam, the modern Side of Cochin Buzzing city. The

City Hotel of Grand recommended for the ones inclined to shopping and some great Kerala

Delicacies well known for its food.

Day 20

Stay at fort Kochi for and explore the touristy destination as it come, Kathakali, spices, antiques.

Day 21

Move to the backwater and relax Marari Villas, a fine villa conceptualised by a European couple

of great tastes on the Marari Beach .

The other option is the peaceful homestay called Anthraper Gardens at Cherthala a

heritage property which is a very functional home with grand services offered from a family

of High lifestyles always happy to share good times and fine living .

Many Historical Churches, Temples, monuments and a small beach, surround

the little town of Cherthala.

Activities available include sightseeing trips to nearby temples & churches,

beach trips & canoe rides all provided at very nominal rates. For the dedicated

angler traditional pole and line, f ishing is a distinct possibility. Yoga classes

may be organized on request.

Relax at the home and does a day boat cruise on a houseboat

Day 23

Relax well do nothing as we will need to move by 11 Pm Midnight to report for the flight by 4.

Am Next day, which a drive 1 hour 30 minutes away.

Day 24 We will take you to the Airport at an appropriate time.

Special Notes:

In case of any currency fluctuation more than 10%, revision of hotel tariffs or

reserve the right to adjust the tour price accordingly as supplements or reduction in

the tour cost.

Hotel check-in & checkout time is usually 1300 Hrs except as below:

For Taj and Oberoi hotels check-in time is 1400 Hrs and checkout is at 1200 Hrs;

heritage; the furniture’s and fittings will be of a particular period style and

purpose.

Notes on Activities offered.

The tour includes routine visit and experiences in all the destinations featured.

For example Visit to plantations and its procurement and process is included

i.e. tea or rubber factory visit.

Activities of specified interest and deeper involvement are as follows.

We have additional optional addons like medium treks trout fishing, bamboo rafting, white

water rafting which can be done while you stay at these bungalows as day programmes as

additional activities of specific interest.

The charges will be in the range of 3000 to 5000 per person as it involves national park entry

fees and addition drop at activity spots in jeeps. All meals plan.

Bamboo rafting offered in Cardamom Hills (Periyar) Trot Fishing at Munnar and Coorg, white

water rafting offered at Coorg.

Overnight activities

Tiger trail treks and camps within forests upto 3 nights offered at Cardamom Hills (periyar)

and Coorg and Nilgiris.

These activities can be opted by cutting down on stays with a minimum stay of one night on

arrival at the destination.(this is done only to make your arrangements convenient)

The charges will range from 4000-5000/- - per person including all meals and transport
