Tala Cauvery & Tibetan Monasteries:
The birthplace of river Kaveri, Tala Cauvery is now also a holy
pilgrimage site. Coorg is a home to many famous monasteries.
Here, you can admire unique carvings and gigantic
gold-plated statues of Tibetan deities.
Dubare Elephant Camp & Nagarhole National Park:
Visit the Dubare Elephant Camp and pass many hours feeding
and bathing the lovable giants of the forest. Then, take a drive
through Nagarhole National Park spread to catch a glimpse a

Some foodie delightsThe wonderful flavours of Kodava cuisine are legendary. Since
rice is abundant here, Koolu, boiled rice and Kanjee, rice gruel
is the staple here. Pair these with a large helping of Baimbalé
Barthad, sautéed bamboo shoots, Pandi Currya gorgeous
pork curry and you have an absolute feast on your plate. Koli
Curry or Chicken Curry made with coconut is a great
favourite too. Vegetarians can indulge in Kootu Curry, a
vegetable stew heaped on velvety ghee rice or Neyi Koolu.
Any meal had here is incomplete without a dollop of lime or
fish pickle, yummy Kaad Maangéor wild mango curry and a
bowl of Chowté Pajji, Cucumber Raita. For your sweet finish,
try Bella Kapi, a wonderful concoction of black co�ee and
jaggery. Follow this with a scrumptious Thari Payasa, a dessert
made from sweetened milk and broken rice. Finish with a long
