In McMinnville, Oregon nestled in the middle of wine country you will find some very nice wine from some great vineyards. You can drive through the country and view farms that grow all kinds of

Two brothers, Deven & Keath Paolo from the small city of Yamhill worked the family farm most of their l i fe just l ike their parents and their grand p a re n t s d i d .

The Brothers were raised on the same farm that was pioneered by their grand parents in the early 20’s, and like their ancestors they worked long hard hours building the family farm. The oppor tunity they were afforded in the land of the free was a great education; Ke-ath schooled in all

aspects of metalworking including machining and fabrication, and Deven a mechanical engineer and business grad apply the great work ethic they learned from their parents to their own business. No job is too small or too big for the brothers and they both are hands on.

Deven & Keath Paolo created their business together in October of 2007 after looking to buy various companies. The brothers came close to buying a company after many months of searching, a busi-ness that builds fermentation tanks for the brewing industry. They came close but opted not to buy that company. After a few years (since 2004) of searching to no avail for a business to work together they decided they had what it took to build their own business with their many years of metalworking and business experience.

It started with a strong name that is repre-sentative of the dy-namic duo. Solid; in the state of matter, characterized by resis-tance to deformation & changes in volume. Form; to give shape or visible structure. Fabrication; A form made whole by unit-ing its parts, formed by art & labor.

In the spring of 2009, Solid Form chose to purchase the Omax® 80X water jet as a key member to their arsenal. After an exhausting search and interviewing over 30 manufacturing companies nation

wide, the resounding facts helped them make their decision. Omax was said to have great customer service with little machine down time, a very functional gantry system, a great pump system, and a software package that worked well. They were sold on the Omax

waterjet and h a v e n e v e r looked back. In fact when a s k e d w h a t their next wa-ter jet would be, it was an easy answer, Omax!

The Omax wa-ter jet purchase opened up a whole new di-

mension for the business. The Omax can cut everything Deven said. I can use the Omax for thin sheet metal cutting with intricate cut outs to thick steel inches thick. One machine and all the options of cutting anything from granite, glass, tubing, to aluminum and steel. We have increased sales every year and the Omax has been a great revenue generator for our company!
