What do Regulatory Boards get from PACE?

Member boards retain authorityRegulatory boards are the FCLB

Elect the decision-makersContinued voice in the evolution of the

PACE governing documentsBoards still approve non-PACE

courses directly(more…)

Page 15: PACE

Authority PACE WILL NOT and CANNOT be the only

approval process available Boards are legally required to maintain

their authority PACE is a means of delegating some of the

workload associated with that authority PACE is also a way of pooling resources with

other boards—that’s why the FCLB is here!(more…)

Page 16: PACE

Authority PACE is a multi-layer program Relies on participation by:

regulatory boards ACC colleges licensing board administrators

However, the FCLB Board of Directors (elected by regulatory boards) is ultimately responsible for determining PACE approval

Page 17: PACE

What do CE Providers get from PACE?Reduced workload, save $$ How much time does college staff spend handling CE

approval applications to states and provinces? Estimated annual cost savings:

$10,000 to $30,000 per college

Page 18: PACE

process ACC colleges should be able to easily

qualify for PACE approval Requires sufficient infrastructure Simplified application Automatic course approval for qualifying

programs
