• Process (Programs, Tools, Skills): A unique, original logo was made in Adobe Illustrator using a monochromatic color scheme. The Logo was then brought into Adobe Indesign to put on the brochure. The brochure was made on an 8.5 x 11 layout and split into thirds. The picture of the couple on the inside of the brochure was brought into Photoshop and by using the quick selection tool, the couple was cut out of the background picture. The selection was saved and then brought into Indesign as well. The text was formatted to wrap around the picture. The paragraphs inside the brochure also had specific paragraph settings applied to them. After all was added to Indesign the brochure was printed, checked for margins and folded into thirds.
Logo• Description: Logo made for a software company in Arizona
• Programs used: Adobe Indesign
• Date: October 31, 2015
• Course # & Section: COMM 130 Section 4

• Objective: Create three completely different, original logos to fit a company or personal image that will appeal to the audience. Do not imitate existing logos or use previous designs.Market research: gather opinions from at least ten people about which logo appeals most to them.Use only the Illustrator tools to create and draw your logos. (No Illustrator pre-fabricated flares, symbols, etc.. No photos or live-tracing. You may use an image or drawing as a guide to trace it with the pen/pencil, but delete the image before submitting.)Refine one logo with variations for color
• Process: I used Adobe Illustrator to create all of the logos. To create the mountain and canyon effect I used the triangle shape tool and then altered the anchor points to make the shapes fit. I downloaded a font from dafont.com so that I didn’t use any overused fonts. I took the colors straight from the color wheel to make the correct color scheme.
