Access the OptionsOn iPad, tap the rightmost button in the toolbar to access the Options. On iPhone/iPod touch, tap the Tools popup button (grid of squares) on the bottom left of the toolbar, and then tap Options.

Choose how to send backups- If you want to allow Proloquo2Go to

automatically save backups to your Google Drive account, go to Backup.

- If you don’t want to allow Proloquo2Go to automatically save backups to Google Drive, go to Services.

Activate DropboxIf the Google Drive switch is not turned to On, tap the switch. You’ll be taken to a place where you can sign in to your Google Drive account and authorize Proloquo2Go to access your Google Drive. You will only have to do this once.

Note: Every day that you use a user, Proloquo2Go will save an automatic backup of it inside the app. When Google Drive is enabled in Options > Backup, this backup will also be automatically uploaded to your Google Drive account. Only the three most recent automatic backups from each user will be kept in your Google Drive account at any one time.

To be safe, we recommend using Back Up Now to save backups to Google Drive or Dropbox after making major customizations. You can also save backups to your computer using iTunes File Sharing or Connect to Computer (WiFi).

Go to BackupScroll down and tap Backup.

Choose a backup option- Tap Backup All Users Now in the Backup

backup of the current user. Wait for Proloquo2Go to finish saving the backup(s).

If you gave Proloquo2Go permission to automatically upload backups to your Google Drive account, you should now see the new backup file(s) in the Apps > Proloquo2Go subfolder of your Google Drive. Otherwise, continue to the next page for instructions on exporting your backup to Google Drive.

Go to Export BackupIn Options > Backup, tap Export Backup.

Select a backup to exportTap Export next to the backup that you want to export.

Select Export to Google DriveA progress bar will appear next to the backup you are exporting. Note that this process may take a while depending on the size of the backup and the speed of your internet connection. You will receive a confirmation message once the backup is exported. Tap the Cancel button to interrupt the backup process.

Restore from a Backup

Save and Restore Backups using Google Drive

Go to Restore from BackupIn Options > Backup, tap Restore from Backup in the Backup options.

Show Remote BackupsWait for the remote backups to finish loading, then tap Show Remote Backups to see backups stored in your Google Drive, Dropbox, or iCloud account(s).

Choose a backup to restoreTap Restore next to the backup that you want to restore.

Choose which user to restoreProloquo2Go will now ask you whether you want to restore the backup to the current user, the user the backup was created in (if it is different and exists on the current device), or a new user.
