CONCEPTIONThe aim of this project is to study the dots found in nature as natural component and compose them as a design.

ANALYSISA dot or a point is the most rudimentary yet basic element of design. It is dimensionless and openly marks a precise location or position in space. In spite of its limited profile of visual significance, dots have strong potentials in design. When placed or composed I n space, dots offer varied possibilities of visual sense and appreciation.

CONCEPTIONThe aim of this project is to understand the potential of ‘Line’ to convey and generate a variety of messages and emotions in nature .

ANALYSISA dot moves in space to create a ‘Line ‘. Conceptually a line has only length, but no width or depth. Whereas the dot is static in nature , a line describes the path of a dot in motion. Based on the movement of dots there are straight line, curve line and curvilinear line. In this project design have to be made after observing those lines in nature.

CONCEPTIONThe aim of this project is to explore the simultaneous presence of lines and dots in nature and observe their position, texture, incident light on the surface projected shade and shadows.

ANALYSISDot is the basic element in nature and lines are nothing but the movement of dots in nature. These elements can be individually recognized from a complex layer of other elements.

STORY WITH LINES AND DOTS

DURATION01 weekDIMENSION200mm X 600mmMATERIALCromolux PaperPencil ( 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B and HB)

CONCEPTIONThe aim of this project is to create space by using the power of lines and dots of lettering.

ANALYSISLetters can be expressed using lines and dots. Her e we had to prepare our own style for lettering, Using the power of lines and dots in lettering space to be created. Here one story was to be selected. In the process beside the space the title of the story had to be projected.

CONCEPTIONThe aim of this project is to perceive the space through texture and exercise the formation of similar texture on two different surface.

ANALYSISTone is used for a shade of a colour, specially a pale or delicate variation. Tone plays a significant role in our sense of vision. It expresses the strength or weakness of an object or form or a line. Texture is also a very powerful element of design. Texture is formed with a number similar elements in patter that creates a visual illusion. The tactile expression of various visual fields will also be explored in this design with tone .

CONCEPTIONThe aim of this project is to explore the Tone variation through different dimension of dot s.

ANALYSISTones can be created through different size of dots. Besides it can also create space. With tone variation different shapes can also be created. This project deals with the tone variation in face. This tone variation is brought out by different types of dots

CONCEPTIONThe aim of this project is to explore the simultaneous presence of shadow and light.

ANALYSISLight creates shadow and both are correlated. Creating depth in a surface the effect of light and shadow can be created.

CONCEPTIONThe aim of this project is to understand texture and create space through texture.

ANALYSISThe variation of texture with different density and dimension creates the space. It creates illusion as well. This project gives idea about colour as well.

GENARATION AND INTERPLAY OF FORM, TEXTURE AND LIGHT

DURATION03 weekDIMENSION750mm X 300mm X 68mmMATERIALAcrylic (4mm)Butter PaperColorPlastic WoodRock String

CONCEPTIONThe aim of this project is to explore the generation and interplay of form, texture and light.

ANALYSISThis project is combination of earlier projects. Here scope was given to experience three dimensional form in multi layer with light color variation and interesting play of light through texture and the paper work.
