New Moon is one of Pure-Seed Testing’s newest elite Kentucky Bluegrass varieties. The overall turf quality of New Moon has proven to be one of the best in trials conducted across the United States. New Moon’s remarkable turf traits include shade tolerance, disease resistance, drought toler-ance, early spring green-up, and great densi-ty. All of these traits make New Moon a strong performer across the board.
New Moon has excellent color and summer performance. Its dark green color and density will make any golf course, pitch, or lawn look and feel �rst class. New Moon will perform under disease pressure and show resistance to the following: summer patch, powdery mildew, dollar spot, leaf spot, and stripe rust. New Moon’s shade tolerance makes it ideal for sport stadiums or other shady turf areas.
New Moon is adapted to well-drained soils with a pH of 5.5-7.5. New Moon performs well in the northern climates down through the Transition Zone of the United States.
