2016 Curbside Collection guideYour Green Bin, Blue Bin, Garbage Bin and yard waste must be set out no later than 7 a.m. on your scheduled collection day and no earlier than 8 p.m. the night before (no earlier than 6 p.m. from November to April). Space is needed around the bins for automated collection.Green BinLine either your indoor container or outdoor Green Bin. Use a plastic bag or kraft paper bag for either container. Do not line both. No special plastic or biodegradable bag is needed.

No limit on the amount that can be put out for collection.Bins cannot weigh more than 20 kg/44 lb Put extra material in a clear plastic bag beside your Green Bin or get an extra bin by visiting toronto.ca/311 or calling 311.Clear plastic bags are preferred for non-food waste (i.e. tissues, diapers, animal waste, etc.).
