SUMMARY

The MacFadyen Property and adjoining Pele and Uniform Surround claims are located on NTS maps

43B/13, 43CI16 and 43FIOl in James Bay Lowlands, Ontario at eight kilometres north of De Beers

Canada Exploration Inc. Victor diamond mine. These properties are owned by Debuts Diamonds

Inc. KWG has incorporated a wholly subsidiary company, Debuts Diamonds Inc, to hold the

company's interest in its diamond assets (Butler, 2008).

The main goal of the 2008 drilling campaign was to take till samples by overburden drilling and by

hand-picking on claims obtained from Pele. Nineteen overburden drill holes were drilled for till

samples on two lines located on claims south of Attawapiskat River. Forty-three handpicked

samples were taken along the Attawapiskat River and twenty-five of them are located on the

property. These samples were screened and 1 kg was taken at the head of the screen material in the

<lmm fraction for major and trace elements analysis. This report concerns geochemical results of

these analyses. Then, the remainder of the samples were concentrated via shaking table, jig and

heavy liquid separation.

Several areas have been highlighted by these geochemical results. In the South-West part of Pele

property, samples from hole 08-09 returned anomalous geochemical results. Two samples (2008-

RC-12 and 2008-RC-19) in the central part of Pele property show some geochemical anomalies. In

the Eastern part of Pele property, hole 08-17 has high geochemical anomalies. Another sample

(2008-RC-02) along the Attawapiskat River also displays geochemical anomalies.

We recommend for next drilling campaign, a budget of $585,000 for overburden drilling on smaller

grids near sites of anomalous results and another $585,000 to finish undrilled overburden holes on

two lines North of the Attawapiskat River. A budget of $43,000 is recommended to find new

territories toward the West by handpicked till sampling.

1. Introduction

This report presents the results from the 2008 summer campaign on MacFadyen, adjoining Pele and

Uniform Surround claims in North-eastern Ontario on behalf of Debuts Diamonds Inc. These

properties are owned by Debuts Diamonds Inc. a wholly-owned subsidiary company of KWG to

hold the company's interest in its diamond assets (Butler, 2008). This campaign has included

diamond drilling, overburden drilling till sampling and handpicked till sampling.

The present summer drilling program was planned as a continuation the drilling of the winter 2007.

All the goals of this campaign were not completed prior to the spring. At that time, there remained

two magnetic targets never previously drilled in the MacFadyen kimberlite trend and one magnetic

target near the Attawapiskat River.

Also, the program included till sampling all over the property, by drilling where the till is under a

thick sequence of marine deposits and also by hand picking along the Attawapiskat River. This

report presents geochemical results on till samples for major and trace elements.

2.2008 Summer campaign

2.1 Objective of the campaign

The main goals of this campaign determined by Mousseau Tremblay are:

Phase A: Diamond drilling

a. To determine the orientation and width of MacFadyen #2 dyke

b. To drill the two untested targets of 2007. They are magnetic anomalies interpreted to

possibly be kimberlites.

Phase B: Till sampling

a. Overburden drilling on four lines spaced 2.5 to 3 kilometres and each samples spaced

1 kilometre apart on claims acquired from Pele Mountain and on MacFadyen

property.

Phase A was presented earlier in "2008 Report on diamond drilling, overburden drilling till

sampling and handpicked till sampling MacFadyen property and Pele Claims James Bay lowlands,

Ontario" (Giguere, 2008). Phase B is the focus of this report.

2.2 Technical data

The 2008 summer drilling campaign took place from June 30 to August 22. All drilling gear was

transported from Val-d'Or to Victor Mine via Cochrane and Moosonee and building materials for

the camp were transported from Cochrane to Victor Mine via Moosonee between June 30 and July

4. Debuts Diamonds Camp was built between July 4 and July 9. The drilling gear arrived near

Debuts Diamonds Camp on July 4 and all the gear was slung by helicopter to the first drill site on

July 10. Nineteen overburden drill holes were drilled for till sampling on claims acquired from Pele

Mountain. Holes were drilled on two lines separated by 2.5 to 3 kilometres and on each line, holes

were approximately 1 kilometre apart (Figure I; Table 1). Two lines, north of the Attawapiskat

River, remained undrilled. Overburden drilling took place between July 27 and August 15. Drill

was carried from the last drill site to Victor Mine between August 15 and 16. Handpicked till

sampling took place between August 9 to August 20 (Figure 1; Table 2).

Till samples were deflocculated with a phosphatised agent to facilitate screening. Then, samples

were wet screened in four fractions (x>9.5 mm, 9.5 mm>x>2 mm, 2 mm>x> I mm and x<l mm).

The <Imm fraction was weighted and passed on a Wilfley table, a shaking table, to extract

concentrate, middling and reject (Annexe 3 and Annexe 4). This sample preparation and

concentration took place at ExploLab Inc in Val-d'Or. Detailed methodology followed by Explolab

is included in Annexe 2. A 1 kg sample was taken at the head of the screen material in the <Imm

fraction for major and trace element analysis at ALS-Chemex (Annexe 5).

2.4 Till geochemistry

The most useful geochemical pathfinders for kimberlite are Mg, Ni, Cr, Nb, Ta, Ti, Ba, K, Rb, Sr , P

and LREE (McCleneghan and Kjarsgaard, 2007; McCleneghan, 2002). Each element was statically

processed by standard deviation. A map of each element is incorporated in Annexee 6. We have

laid emphasis on Cr, Ba, Nb and Ceo Cr reflects the presence of Cr-spinel, Cr-pyrope and Cr­

diopside, Ba reflects the presence of phlogopite, Nb reflects the presence of Mg-ilmenite and

groundmass perovskite, and Ce reflects the presence of apatite and perovskite (McCleneghan, 2007).

Pele property is composed by Palaeozoic units that are comprised of conglomeratic and calcareous

to dolomitic sandstones, platform carbonates, limestones and dolomites (Butler, 2008). Dolomite

and calcite influenced Mg and Sr contents of till and these elements are less meaningful.

Samples from holes 08-09 and 08-17 show strong anomalous results in Cr, Ba, Nb and Ceo Two

other samples, one from hole 08-08 and the other from 2008-RC-02 have anomalous results in Ba.

Sample 2008-RC-02 also has anomalous results in Nb.

Samples from holes 08-09 and 08-17 display anomalous results for nearly all elements, with the

exceptions of Mg and Sf.

Other samples show geochemical anomalies of some elements. Thus, samples from hole 08-03 show

anomalous results for Ti and Mg, sample 2008-RC-02, for Nb, Sm and K, sample 2008-RC-12, for

Ba, Nd and Ta, and sample 2008-RC-19, for P and Mg.

3. Conclusions, recommendations and budget

On claims acquired from Pele Mountain, several magnetic anomalies are present. These anomalies

follow the same trend as the magnetic anomalies of MacFadyen kimberlites. Overburden drilling till

sampling and handpicked till sampling were done to determine dispersion trends in order to focus on

specific areas to search for new kimberlitic bodies.

From geochemical anomalies, two areas are particularly interesting, area near holes 08-09 and area

near hole 08-17. These samples show geochemical anomalies of nearly all pathfinder elements.

Two other areas show a few elements with geochemical anomalies. One is in the area of sample

2008-RC-02 at the Eastern end of Pele claims and the other one is in the area of sample 2008-RC-

12 and sample 2008-RC-19, in the central part of Pele claims.

A budget of $585,000 is recommended for the definition of dispersion trends near the two samples

with the stronger geochemical anomalies. Overburden drilling need to be done on a small grid near

these two samples. We recommend a budget of$585,000 to complete undrilled overburden holes on

two lines North of the Attawapiskat River. Also, it would be appropriate to extend handpicked

sampling toward the North-West on Attawapiskat River to find new territories between the Kyle

pipes to the West and the Attawapiskat Victor - MacFadyen trend. A budget of $43,000 IS

recommended to find new territories toward the West by handpicked till sampling.

Introduction

Ce rapport presente les operations de traitements effectuees sur 66 echantillons de till et 31

echantillons de forage de mort-terrain soumis a notre laboratoire par la compagnie Debut Diamond.

Les echantillons proviennent du secteur de la riviere Attawapiskat, region de la Baie-James,

province de I 'Ontario.

Les echantillons ont ete tamises par Martin Parent. La table de Wilfley a ete operee par

Marcel Simoneau et Maxime Plante. Aucun bris majeur n'a retarde Ie processus de traitement.

Tamisage humide des echantillons avec pesee a sec avant traitement

ExploLab Inc. a developpe un systeme unique de tamisage humide automatique (Figure 1).

Le systeme fonctionne avec des tamis de 18 pouces de diametre . Ce systeme permet de traiter plus

de 30 echantillons de till par journee de 8 heures.

Les tamis utilises pour cette etape possedent une ouverture de 9.5mm, 2mm et I mm. La

fraction superieure it 9.5 mm est pesee humide et entreposee pour Ie comptage des cailloux. La

fraction superieure it 2 mm est pesee humide et entreposee. La fraction inferieure it lmm est pesee

humide et envoyee it la table de Wilfley.

Cette annee, nous avons utilise des tamis en acier inoxydable dans le but d' eliminer completement

les effets de contamination visuelle par Ie laiton des anciens tam is.

Les echantillons de till reyus pesaient en moyenne 20 kilos. Ils ont ete recoltes par l' equipe

de Gestion Aline Leclerc Inc. composee d' Aline Leclerc et Emmanuelle Giguere ainsi que par Remi

Charbonneau de la firme Inlandsis Inc. Les echantillons de forage de mort-terain ont ete recueillis

par la compagnie Forage Performax Inc. Le materiel etait de bonne qualite et tres argileux. Tous les

echantillons ont done ete deflocules it l'aide d'un agent phosphate dans Ie but de faciliter Ie tamisage

humide. Selon les observations du geologue, les cailloux possedent les criteres caracteristiques d'un

bon till it savoir : l'angularite : la majorite des cailloux observes possedent une angularite prononcee,

la presence de stries sur les cailloux ainsi qU'une fine couche residue:lle d'argile.

Table de Wilfley

La table de Wilfley est une table inclinable autour d'un axe longitudinal, a laqueUe on

communique un mouvement de secousses periodiques selon Ie meme axe. Cette table est garnie

d'obstructions ou de riffles paralleles a sa longueur. Alimentee par une pulpe a un de ses coins, elle

fournit un concentre a l'extremite etroite opposee a celle de l'alimentation (au bout des riffles) ainsi

qu'un rejet a l'extremite large, egalement opposee a celie de l'alimentation. On alimente la table en

eau de lavage, perpendiculairement aux riffles. Ainsi, lorsqu'un courant de pulpe est pris en charge

par une table, il se presente perpendiculairement aux riffles de sorte qu'il se comporte comme une

nappe pelliculaire fluente sur un dalot gami d' obstructions. Les particules denses, petites et

moyennes, sont pie gees au tout debut des riffles. Le produit piege est entraine par Ie mouvement

altematif de la table vers l'extremite du concentre. Les particules de faible masse volumique

debordent au dessus des riffles superieurs pour se rendre aux riffles inferieurs jusqu'a finir dans Ie

plat de rejet.

Notez que les plats sont interchangeables et comprennent deux plats creux de concentres, de

middlings et de rej ets.

Specifiquement, Ie traitement des echantillons dans notre laboratoire se deroule d'apres Ie

processus suivant (Figure 2) :

L' etape de table a secousses effectuee pour Debut Diamond consiste a extraire un concentre,

un middling et un rejet. Le concentre produit est secM et pese. Le middling est pese humide et

entrepose alors que Ie rejet est pese humide et rejete.

Sechage et pesee

Les echantillons de table sont soumis au sechage. Chaque concentre est ensuite pese sur une

balance de laboratoire electronique precise au 0.1 gramme. Les cchantillons sont scelles avec une

etiquette d'aluminium d'identification. Les concentres ont ete achemines ensuite au laboratoire MTI

de Cornwall en Ontario, pour subir une concentration par liqueur lourde. Les middlings, rejets et

cailloux ont etc retoumes a Debut Diamond.

Observations et commentaires

11 avait ete convenu que les instruments seraient decontamines apres Ie traitement de chaque

echantillon Les tamis ont ete laves a la pression et brosses. La table a ete nettoyee avec une brosse

fine et au compresseur a air.

Le taux d'argile/silt etait fort important pour l'ensemble des echantillons. La presence de

ces particules legeres explique la difference de poids observee entre Ie debut et la fin de chacune des

procedures de traitement. En effet, sur la table de Wilfley ainsi que lors du tamisage humide, ces

particules de faible densite et de faible dimension flottent sur I' eau et sont alors perdues.

De fayon generale, cette perte est relativement minime et n'affecte en rien la qualite des

concentres puisque Ie principe de la table est de separer les mineraux de densite superieure a 3,5 et

non la fraction argile-silt.

Les concentres obtenus pesaient en moyenne 100 grammes avant I' etape de tamisage a sec et

de liqueur lourde.
