Outward Bound is an educational program that focuses on teaching and experiencing the skills it takes to survive in the wild. Print ads will show how reading about them on a screen just doesn’t cut it.

The purpose of social media is to see and share your experiences.

Outward Bound’s social accounts will take that aspect away. Because why should you be able to see what’s going on out there... when you could be out there doing the real thing?

MOBILE EXPERIENCE

A smartphone ‘hack’ temporarily turns off the user’s phone when a certain code is texted to them.

The code will be given to Outward Bound alumni upon completing their course, which they can send to challenge their friends, who will continue to pass it on.

What begins as an exclusive group turns into a viral inconvenience which will cause people to question their own smartphone dependence.

Out of Home ads will be placed on sidewalks, urging those who walk while only looking at their phones to embrace a new outlook on looking down.
