This  poetry  book  is  about  a  classroom  22.  The  students  ask  their  teacher  if  they  could  get  a  classroom  pet.  She  tells

them  they  should  get  a  pet  for  every  letter  in  the  alphabet.    Every  page  is  a  poem  for  a  different  animal  according  to  the  letter  it  starts  with.  The  class  ends  up  getting  a  pet  for  every  letter  in  the  alphabet  except  the  letter  Z.  They  actually

thought  they  were  getting  a  zorilla  but  ended  up  getting  a  skunk.  So  know  nobody  visits  their  zoo  classroom.

This  book  is  about  Aesop.  It  consists  of  short  fable  poems  that  teach  a  lesson.  Every  poem  in  this  book  is  about

animals  that  learn  a  lesson  the  hard  way.  The  lion  laughed  when  the  mouse  told  him  to  let  him  go  and  he  would  return  the  favor.  The  lion  never  imagined  that  a  creature  so  small  might  actually  be  able  to  help  him.  He  still  let  him  go  and  the  very  next  day  the  mouse  returned  the  favor  by  biting  through  a  rope  that  had  caught  the  lion.  These  poems  teach

us  life  lessons.

The  inspiring  true  story  of  Wilson  Bentley.  He  grew  up  in  Vermont  in  the  heart  of  the  “snowbelt”.  Here  he  grew  to  love  the  snow  and  his  curiosity  to  study  all  forms  of  moisture.  Wilson  convinced  his  parents  to  buy  him  a  camera  that
