OUTLAW NEWSLETTER
During the last 3 months the Soldiers of 2nd
Platoon has been working extremely hard im-aging computers, performing customer service operations, running fiber optic lines, CAT 5 cable, installing new Line of Site equipment, and building office furniture. The Soldiers are always finding ways to keep themselves busy even during the minimal down time that they do have by holding weightlifting competitions organized by SGT Thaxton, Level 1 combat-ive, physical training, playing video games, and watching movies. During the weightlifting competition 2
nd Platoon had two Soldiers that have become a part of the Forward Operat-
ing Base Gamberi 300 club they are SGT Thaxton who bench pressed 300 pounds, SPC Biondolillo who bench pressed 305 pounds. Along with them, SSG Gibeaut also has be-come a part of the 300 club by bench pressing the most weight at 355 pounds.
We have been receiving a lot of support from family and friends thru care packages
that keep the Soldier’s moral up. They appreciate all the support that has been given by
the different organizations that have also be providing support. The Rest and Recuperation
leave has begun so the Solders are all looking forward for their time to leave and spend
time with family.

OUTLAW NEWSLETTER
The snowy season of Afghanistan has found us at last and it has brought with it a renewed feeling of vigor. The snow has settled into the surrounding mountains, providing a beautiful backdrop for our daily chores. The platoon has finally settled into a daily routine with ongoing missions for the two CPN teams. CPN team 353 has continued their support mission for 17th CSSB and recently did an outstanding job of finishing the wiring mission at the JDMC. The team sorted through, labeled, and tested over 200 CAT5 cables in under a week. Team 352 has been continuing their mission up north and has recently welcomed a new member, SPC Vega, a hard working individual who joined us from Brigade. We also welcomed two new members, SPC McCarrick and PFC McAllister, to our platoon. They have been added to the newly formed SPOP team headed up by SPC (soon to be SGT) Brown. Finally, the last addi-tion to our 1st Platoon OUTLAW family is Bridget Flathers! Please extend your congratulations to the family and keep Ashley Flathers in your prayers for a speedy recovery.
CPN 353 and others who came to help wire the JDMC Site: (From

PFC Brazil, SPC Edwards, and SPC Shafer.
