THE PLACE: As the warm weather settles in for a longer stay,

it’s time to focus on your outdoor space. InsideOut Home & Patio

has everything you need to beautify your patio, deck and pool

area, from dining and lounging furniture to heaters and serving

accessories. Brothers Sam and Christopher Mele opened InsideOut

after learning the business. “As university students we paid for our

tuition by working for those who retail in outdoor furniture,” says

Christopher. “Soon after, we formed our vision of opening our own

store to expand our ideas for patio furniture.” Today, eight locations

are open in Ontario, including the 10,000 sq. ft. store in Vaughan.

THE STYLE: InsideOut carries your favourite style, from

contemporary to traditional. Quality is paramount. Christopher

says their forté is creating outdoor rooms using the best in patio

furniture made from cast aluminum and outdoor wicker. Unique

to InsideOut is their custom cushion program, which allows you

to create your own cushions in any style and size with over 100

different fabric options. Once you have your furniture picked out,

finish the space with an awning and a barbeque.

WHAT’S HOT: When you enter the large, bright and colourful store it

won’t take long to pick out what’s hot this season. Modular sectionals

in several styles hold a strong presence and Christopher explains that

it’s due to their versatility. “They allow you to create your own custom

design to accommodate any outdoor space.”

SEASONAL: Christopher and his brother are passionate about patio

design and adamant about carrying the latest and greatest items.

You’ll find this season’s hottest colours and trends throughout the

store. “A must-have is our brand new double beverage drink dispenser

that is BPA free and allows you to serve two separate drinks with one

dispenser,” says Christopher. “It’s great for hosting, inside or out.”
